@ Slim
Thanks for your input. I agree, Jehovah is a legitimate form of God's name which means there are others which are equally acceptable. So it really does not matter which legitimate form one chooses. Moreover it simply confirms that we don't really know what the original Hebrew name was in the first place. Perhaps God has hidden His name in both testaments for a reason. And to me it's not the name that matters, but the person for whom the name stands.
The WTS version of the 2 class system is entirely bogus from a scriptural standpoint. There are no Christians who are not born of and indwelt by the Spirit of God, or who are not imputed Christ's righteousness and who are not part of the New Covenant in His blood. Rewards and position are to be determined in the judgment.

Let's add to the following list
JWs are mistaken when they believe the Bible teaches:
1. that their leaders somehow represent the Faithful and Wise Servant
2. that the book of Revelation is about them
3. that Jesus presence (parousia) began in 1914
4. that Jerusalem was destroyed in 607 BCE
5. that there are two classes of Christians (anointed and non-anointed)
6. that God's personal name is known
7. that the name Jehovah is in the New Testament
8. that making God's name known involves telling people God's name is Jehovah.
9. that whole blood transfusions are outlawed in scripture.
10. that something scripturally significant happened in 1914, 1918, 1919, 1925 or 1975
11. that the tribulation spoken about in Matthew 24 is future
12. that WTS leaders can interpret the Bible properly
13. that less than 150,000 faithful Christians existed prior to the 20th century
as sgt pepper sang, "it was 20 years ago today" ... that i made my first post on my first forum.. i obviously didn't put too much thought into what it should say although i must have burned 45 posts testing things and was too lazy to reset the counter before going live (?):.

but somehow, it worked and grew and here we all are, 20 years on.
Thank you Simon for making, managing snd maintaining this site for the past 20 years. Congratulations are definitely in order.
we meticulously obeyed the divine counsel from the slave.
we prepared our “to go” bag, and we await gods direction from the slave on our exit plan.
we submitted our “destination” away back when, the address of our worldly relatives where we planned to flee to for salvation.
What....why not buy $60 million private jets like some other TV evangelists?
use your search engine to locate all the lawsuits pedophiles are filling up the courts with to say the "sex registry is unconstituional", "pedophlia is a choice like homosexuality is" and reclassification of their crimes.
consenting male adults is their choice, how can a five-year old boy give his choice to have sex with a forty-five year old male?
you hear things as time passes by, i had the chance to listen to a legal professional say that if gay marrige was approved pedophiles would be banging at the door to get recognized as a social norm.
why did i have so many jobs?.
i became a velcro salesman, but i couldn't stick with it.and besides - it was a ripoff.. i tried my hand at a career in tennis, but it wasn't my racket and i was too high strung.. i was a masseur for a while, but i seemed to rub people the wrong way.next i got a job at a pool company, but the work was too draining.then?i was a historian, but i couldn't see a future in it.i took a job as an elevator operator—the job had its ups and downs, and i got the shaft.. i became a banker, but i had an affair with boss's wife because she promised to hold my interest right up to the moment of withdrawal.. i just lost my job as a psychic.
i did not see that coming.if a job’s worth doing, it’s too hard.. i quit my job working for nike.
Reminds of the woman who had 5 husbands, each with a different career. She married a banker, then an actor, then then a minister and finally an embalmer. When asked why she married each of her partners she responded
One for the money two for the show, three to get ready and...
just been reading former long-time brooklyn bethelite tom cabeen's very encouraging article entitled "where is the body of christ?".
(can be found at http://divinetruth.homestead.com/bodyofchrist.pdf) .
in his article, tom says: "when john received the revelation around the end of the first century, there were hundreds of thousands of christians, even by conservative estimates.
Thanks for reviving this thread.
... or rather listen to the advice on their jw news website:.
show love to others.
while we all know the importance of attending christian meetings and participating in the public ministry, if you are sick, it is best to stay home to avoid infecting others.
No way. I wouldn't want anyone thinking I might support such a farcical misrepresentation of communion.
