My take:
They will not substantially change the blood policy.
They will not change the 1914 date.
They will not change their stance on fornication one iota or they will lose their claim to moral superiority.
i’ve noticed a pattern where things don’t go the way i expect them to go and/or whenever i realise there is a trend and, i mentally adjust for the idea that the trend will continue, the trend stops in its tracks.
so on that basis, and given many people, including myself, and active jws, have been asking ‘what changes will the governing body make next?’ perhaps the (disappointing) answer is: ‘nothing much for a while to come’.
maybe they’ve made the changes they want for now, and will wait a while and see how it’s received.
My take:
They will not substantially change the blood policy.
They will not change the 1914 date.
They will not change their stance on fornication one iota or they will lose their claim to moral superiority.
y'all i am an unmedicated bipolar.
i had a mania streak and slept with my bf who is of the world.
i am pregnant from this.
Sydney,
Believe me. Nobody is judging you. Everyone is trying to be supportive. But we have no faith in the kindness of men who are bound by heartless man made policies. In contrast, just look at the response of Christ to the woman caught in adultery and take heart sister. We are with you.

Sydney,
Hello everyone I had sex with my 'worldly' bf 7 days ago. It was after I was baptized. I went and talked to the elders and they said they won't do anything but they are setting up a panel for me of three elders.
So you were intimate with him prior to and after you were baptized.
Will your boyfriend stick it out with you? If you both are not in love, be ready to be a single mom without family support.
and as a reminder to all my atheist friends, here's a list of 12 facts on the resurrection most scholars (skeptic, jewish and otherwise) agree to.
2000 years ago a man announced that he would be killed and while he was dead, he would resurrect himself from the dead.
just wow!.
Christos Anesti !!!!

Hi Sydney,
Do you have family members in the religion?
Do you love your boyfriend and does he love you? Is he willing and able to support you and your child?
but i wonder: how many jw's went to prison during the years that the wt did not allow them to perform community service as an alternative to military service?.
anyone care to take a stab at the numbers?.
Good old Russell was not even opposed to Bible Students being in the military...as long as they aimed to miss.

Terry might have some input on this one...but haven't seen him around of late.
looks like the early christians believed jesus when he warned about hell over 40 times.
why don't the jw's do the same?.
from “the epistle of barnabas” (70-130ad).
Sorry SB, the chart is fuzzy when expanded. Please supply the Scriptural references and quotations that support Reverend Larking's fascinating diagram.

@SeaBreeze
"there is more than one compartment in hell"
Yes that's what the Pharisees believed and taught to justify their total neglect of the poor, but I notice you did not provide a scripture to support this conclusion.
mark jones writes:.
actually, it was “love for jehovah” and a desire to “remain loyal to him” that made me leave the jehovah’s witness “religion”.. gradually, it became very clear to me that the organization does not represent jehovah.
if anything, it had become apostate.

Actually, it was “love for Jehovah” and a desire to “remain loyal to him” that made me leave the Jehovah’s Witness “religion”.
Gradually, it became very clear to me that the organization does not represent Jehovah. If anything, it had become apostate. If Jehovah had chosen the Watchtower society and declared it clean in 1919 - then any change to its doctrine would be apostasy.
Being loyal to Jehovah means rejecting false prophets, rejecting liars and rejecting men who tell you to follow them in order to follow the Christ.
If anyone wishes to be “loyal to Jehovah” then they must leave the apostate organization even though it claims to represent him - just like the first century Jews had to reject the Pharisees who claimed to have god’s backing.
At the time of my leaving, I believed the bible:
Most Jehovah’s Witnesses aren't even aware that the above 4 points are not part of Jehovah's’ Witness doctrine.
"Likewise, the Greater Moses, Jesus Christ, is not the Mediator between Jehovah God and all mankind. He is the Mediator between his heavenly Father, Jehovah God, and the nation of spiritual Israel, which is limited to only 144,000 members." - Worldwide Security Under the "Prince of Peace" (1986) pp.10-11
"So in this strict Biblical sense Jesus is the "mediator" only for anointed Christians." - Watchtower 1979 Apr 1 p.31
"Special attention was being given to making up the government that would rule mankind for 1,000 years, and nearly all the inspired letters in the Christian Greek Scriptures are primarily directed to this group of Kingdom heirs - "the holy ones," "partakers of the heavenly calling." - United in Worship p.111
"Also, it is to the spirit-anointed Christians who will rule in that kingdom that most of the Christian Greek Scriptures is directed, including the promises of everlasting life." - Watchtower 1974 June 15 p.376
