It's an interesting series. I can't wait for the next episode: Necrotizing fasciitis -- was it designed?
Lol.
the jw website is currently featuring a piece: the shell of the diabolical ironclad beetle—was it designed?
it is part of their regular tedious 'was it designed?
' series that purports that very very specific animal species must have been specifically designed because of some seemingly amazing feature.. but they seem completely unaware that this directly contradicts their notion that only very broad 'kinds' were required on the mythical 'ark'.

Ahh this brings back memories. Way, way back when I was beginning to realize it wasn't true, I was talking with an elder that knew I was having "issues" with evolution, and Noah' ark had come up.
He gave me that "broad kinds on the ark" line. I just asked, "Was Noah and his family white, black, or asian?" By the end of the day he conceded that micro-evolution was definitely true. But not macro, no.... that's just impossible.
in my studies, i have concluded that year 530 bc was when the destruction of jerusalem occurred and the temple destroyed.
i had determined this prior to investigation of vat4956.
i had already found that the jubilees, sabbaticals, courses of the priests, and chronology attested to this.
When someone proposes yet another chronology:
uh oh, looks like the mega thread gave up the ghost, so while i investigate / fix it just continue the discussion here .... it's been a long 9 years lloyd evans / john cedars.
So if Lloyd is gay, perhaps the reason he stays in the closet is because he is afraid he would lose patrons if he came out as a gay man.
Lol, there is something to indicate this officially? Lol...
Let the record show that it was I .. I indeed theorized, from the beginning, that we were jumping the gun assuming "girls definitely older than 20" meant that he was with "girls" at all. The mega thread holds the record. Indeed we all knew "definitely over 20" meant "definitely not older than 20", and so it was a simple logical jump to "definitely not girls".
All his complaints about "not being sexually compatible" with his wife make sense in this context.
an interesting video was on youtube with a person claiming that the memorial date for 2024 was wrong.
so i consulted three different jewish calendars online and sure enough, he appears to be right.
i went back to 2014 and forward to 2027. they have the future dates listed.
It feels like there is a thread about the inaccuracy of the memorial date every year....
just heard about khconf+ app replacing zoom for hybrid meetings at kngdom halls.
did a quick search here and didnt find any posts about it.
have i missed something?.
Now, I haven't tested the parameters that identify me in the post. What of they (Oracle) don't check the user guid (passed in then payload) with some session value. Can I submit a card for someone else? Can I query a list of someone else's cards?
I dunno... and I just don't have the time or drive to test it.
There's a while host of considerations when you are dealing with streams and full socket connections. If they lean on the app for auth and don't protect the server.... welll....

I'll give you an example. Where I work, they require the devs to submit time cards, even if the employee is salaried, through an Oracle time managament system. They want to capitalize certain dev time. Ok. Sure, whatever.
Well, they require me to submit my time for the week within two weeks - so I can't be too late. But I'm always late ... because I'm generally doing more important things and I forget.
So I log onto the app and attempt to submit the time, and a big error message pops up saying that I can't submit because it's past the two week deadline.
Bring up the network traffic, and capture the http traffic for a valid submit (I submit a valid week and see what it sends back to the server). I replay the http action with different params for the late week, and all of a sudden I've submitted a late card.
How can I do this? Because the late validation is done on the front end, not the backend.
This is an **Oracle** app.
Accounting freaks out. They call me wondering how I do this. I just claim it must be an app error because I submitted on time...bla bla..
They still haven't figured it out yet.

So?
Passwords are normally the first step. A password grants some sort of token or cookie. Did they do the proper back-end checks on authorization (after the token authenticates)? Common stuff like that is normally overlooked. The front end app does some auth check and then calls a backend api, but the same auth isn't done on server side. That stuff happens all the time.

Usually when cheaper replacement apps come on the scenes, it takes a while for them to go through the iterations and testing needed to deal with poor security. Which is the default normally (get it working first then deal with security).
My guess it's more hackable, and I would enjoy hearing of highjacked streams playing circus music...
