This is a good idea. However, like you say, it requires courage. I personally believe that you can't come out until the time is right. Otherwise, you might be tempted to go right back in. Since JW's are a global group, I wouldn't make this national but international. But yes it should be an annual day. It may take time for it to make an impact but eventually it would be well known among JWs. If we're not ready to come out yet, we could just wait until next year's day and do it then.

i am tired of hearing these stories about people staying jws while scared to admit they don't believe in it anymore.
if you saw the movie milk, then you know the argument.

Coming out of the closet to my sister

i am an active jw, still single and i live with my jw family.
i have tried to instill critical thinking skills to my sister and she has gladly accepted them.. i really want to tell her how i feel about the wt and their teachings but i'm not sure if i should.

Worst Watchtower Study Ever?

This past week's (9/11/2011) watchtower study on apostates has been the worst study I've had to endure ever since I opened my eyes up to the Watchtower's "truth."I disgusted me. I wish more people could actually see what's in front of them. It was absoluetly aweful.
There were so many fallacies in the article that I'm saving a PDF version for future reference.
What are your thoughts on it?

Do JW's know how to park their cars?
This past weekend I went to a 45 minute meeting where they taught us how to properly park cars.
Apparently JW's can't do this on their own.
