WT and the Illuminati - truth or fiction?
by SnowQueen ini've been reading around this subject of late and it seems to make a lot of sense.
i'm wondering if anyone is convinced and/or has seen anything that can substantiate or corroborate the 'facts' set out in these arguments.. http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/bloodlines/russell.htm.
i was particularly fascinated to read the following:.

I hope you're not done reading our comments, as I'd like to add my two cents. This sound a little harsh, but it's wake up time... What would you do if your wife wanted them to become Moonies? Scientologists? Branch Davidians? People's Temple? Would you even ASK the question about whether or not to help them get dressed for a cult meeting? An indoctrination meeting? I think you need to take a hard look at what the consequences of your decision is going to be. As another poster pointed out, your three year old is being indoctrinated now to view you and your advice to them (all of their lives) as tools and instruments of Satan.
I sincerely have never understood how people so often choose their spouses over their children. The Watchtower Society mentally abuses children, and if this were physical abuse, ask yourself what you would do.
Let me give an EXTREME example. (I am not comparing this as apples to apples, so don't be offended. I merely use something extreme to drive the idea across.) Yesterday I read in the news about a father "waterboarding" his eleven year old daughter. His wife watched. Both have been arrested. No, she didn't participate, but she permitted it, because she took no action to prevent it! And of course, she deserves to have her children removed from her care because she has failed to protect them.
Your wife isn't waterboarding anyone, of course, but the point is, if you know that something is dangerous to your kids, will you protect them, or will you choose your mate?

Advice needed please.
by tenene ini've been a lurker here for about a year and a half.
i am a baptised jw(born-in).. i was a publisher in good standing until about last december when i stopped putting in fs time as well as attending meetings and conventions including this year's memorial.. i no longer believe in the teachings of the watchtower society.. about 3 weeks ago an elder and a ms from my cong came to ny house uninvited and told me they were just checking on me and wanted to find why i haven't been to the meetings for such a long time.
they told me it was not an official visit, but sort of hinted to me that if i don't show up then i might be getting an official one soon.

Just don't offer explanations. You don't need to answer to anyone. Have a conversation with your mom, and tell her however much you think she can handle, then live your life. Do you want to spend the rest of it screening telephone calls, sitting in the back booths of restaurants, evading questions, etc. Really?
Listen to moshe - (I did) you won't be sorry. Can't live a lie. You will only be unhappy if you try....

How about "I don't want to talk about it with you." Why are explanations necessary? If someone says "I missed you." just say thank you. Why go through all these convoluted excuses. Let me ask you, what if some well meaning person came up to you and asked you how much money you made? When did you last have sex? etc. I don't see where people get off asking personal questions. Why does anyone have to say anything. Tell your family that you are "taking a break" and shrug off all others. Just my opinion.

Okay, I guess since you keep asking, I won't pull my punches. And, it' s my opinion, no more, BUT....why are you continuing to pussyfoot around this issue? Why don't you make a decision and act on it? What is WRONG with saying to her that you have had enough of this, you won't torment her with it BUT you will not permit her to bring up your children in a crazy cult. Even preschoolers are easily reasoned with. Don' t you feel any obligation to ensure, absolutely ensure that your kids remain free of this? Isn't that the obligation of a parent? If she wanted to take them to a malaria infested swamp, would you continue to try and be reasonable? Or, would you say, hey, these are my kids too and they are staying home! Okay, you want to save your wife, that's great, but SHE DOESN'T WANT TO BE SAVED!!!! Tell her to get a job, for god's sake! Tell your children the truth. You are keeping the peace at all cost, and it is YOU keeping it. You know son, it is like it is. If you deal with it, so will everyone. You can love her, but that works both ways. You keep playing around with this a couple more years and you'll be crying later that your kid's lives were ruined by the Watchtower. No, you will have LET them be ruined by it without a fight. Your wife is running this show up to this point, and you're letting her hurt you with her words. Put your pants back on and look her in the eye. Why isn't she worrying about how she'll make it without you? In other words, stare her down...

I don't know how anyone can lead a double life. It would be so terribly hard on a person. My personal opinion is that you have a moral obligation to try and get your family out, particularly your children. I can't give advice on just how to accomplish that, it's up to you to decide the best way to proceed. I am so glad your family is leaving and is supportive. Perhaps their exit will also be convincing to your wife. All you can do is weigh your options, decide whether or not you can accept the possible repercussions of your decisions, and act accordingly. You sound like a good husband and father; only you know what to do, and I sincerely wish you the best.

Would You Listen To A Prayer From A JW And Say Amen If They Said A Prayer In Your Presence?
by minimus inmy mom has had visits from various jws and they have asked her if they could say a prayer before they left.
i respectfully listened to the prayers while i was visiting and might silently say amen if i felt the prayer was appropriate for my mom.. i'm just curious, how would you handle this type of situation?.
-
GrandmaJones
I would not create a scene about it being said, but I'd never say Amen. My mom's memorial service took place recently and I didn't even say amen then. It's a false religion. Just my opinion.

District Convention Points Saturday 21-07-2012 New Light? Governing Body Is Our Mother?
by Bubblegum Apotheosis ini have been trying to wrap my head around the talk that introduced the slave as our mother?
the brothers at bethel are worried that we are not treating our spiritual mother with respect.
jehovah is our father, the faithful slave (the governing body) is our spiritual mammy.

Since the early WTCD doesn't have older publication
by thecrushed ini didn't ask why they don't because their own literature makes them out as horrible frauds!
my question is how do you get a hold of stuff like the "finished mystery" "the divine plan of the ages" and other pertinent false doctrine that has been swept under the rug and locked in the coffers at wt headquarters?
i feel so helpless because if i show my wife info on the net she will just write it off as apostate and altered like we have all been trained to think.
