  wow, dudes and dudess, it really looks like glacial fragmentation is inevitable in the mighty mom.. unless j. mason is making this all up.

  but his sources seem credible.. kudos j. mason.. somehow i smell a bill bowen in this.

  A difference between 2009 Annual Report and 2010 Annual Report

  in 2009 annual meeting report, the report was given of these stats:.

  u.s. 7/09 new peak in pubs and again in 8/09 land mark of 1,154,275 pubs.

  making a 4% increase over last year.

  I thought the 2010 meeting was about 2009. Like the CDrom, it isn't about 2010 because 2010 isn't over yet. Won't 2010 be discussed in 2011?

  on page 97 in the reasoning book it states: " before the last members of the generation that was alive in 1914 will have passed off the scene, all the things foretold will occur, including the "great tribulation" in which the present wicked world will end.".

  the guilt borne by former Jehovah's Witnesses

  i have been noticing in various threads that many former jehovah's witnesses in here feel a burden of guilt about having been a jehovah's witness.

  mostly talk about how terrible they feel for having imposed wtbts beliefs and strictures on people, especially on people they love.

  i am beginning to believe that this is a key trigger for people when they finally get up to the point where they feel they must leave the society.

  It was the realization that this is not God's organization and his channel of communication. Then I looked at doctrine, then I felt guilty over those I brought in. Most will never get out. I see now how it can ruin lives.

  Question For Those Who Have Been Around Awhile...

  i started fading about a year and a half ago after i saw serious problems within the organization and doctrinal flaws.

  i was a ms, bethelite, pioneer for the better part of 10 years.. while pioneering as a ministerial servant i married a girl who wasn't considered "strong" in the truth despite being raised in the truth.

  anyway for the better part of the last 18 months i talk to her about the flaws when an opportunity presents itself.she no longer goes out in the ministry(more or less for the last year).. .

  I'm a fifth generation "born in" and been attending meetings for more than six decades. Trust me. It takes time to swallow. It's amazing she's questioning. Don't rush, and she'll get there on her own in a couple more years.

  Field Service Drains Me....

  at this point i absolutely hate field service.

  i have to keep going hough, or else the brothers in my group will be all over my back.

  part of me just doesnt give a f***, but something inside me doent wanna have to deal with it.

  Well, hon, that what you will need to do. Wait. Enroll in college, take out a student loan or get a grant or a scholarship, and move on campus. If you go to another town to school, maybe a state school, you'll be out from under their thumb.

  Right now, you are the only friends I have got. Certainly the only ones I can talk with. My old friends at the hall only want to talk about "the truth" field service, the meetings, and a little bit of personal info, (heavily laced with a thanks be to Jehovah)

  There is no where else to go for conversation.
