Morton Edgar's 1924 Pyramid books--PDFs!
by cabasilas inhe is better known for his collaboration with his brother dr john edgar in the 2 volume set "great pyramid passages.
" those 2 volumes were published during c.t.

Sorry, hit enter before the question...
I understand the btt thing so that later you can go back and find the thread somehow, but what if you start to get a million topics posted to, and now you want to find something? Isn't there some other way to organize this material into topics? For instance, there is a comment that I wish to refer to again, and I suspect that I can't find it because it wasn't the topic of the thread. How do you guys find things so quickly?

by Reopened Mind inthats the question i keep asking myself once i began learning the truth about the truth.
one definition according to merriam-websters collegiate dictionary is the body of real things, events, and facts.
another (often cap) is a transcendent, fundamental or spiritual reality.

Exactly how I feel. How could I have been so gullible? About everything else in life, I do research. I never take anyone's word for anything, and I take the time to look things up for myself. How could I have been so gullible?

Avoid Misunderstandings
by Sayswho inthis clears up a lot of things for me...as this is a direct statement to have us deceive where our understandings really comes from.
(because it really is what "the society teaches" (gb) not the bible.
4. in order to avoid misunderstandings, jehovahs witnesses try to be careful about how they express themselves.

I can't really seek professional help. Any self-help suggestions for depression?
by easyreader1970 ini really don't have the time or the finances for a professional psychiatrist.
i know i am depressed and i know why.
the problem, as i have said before in one or two other threads, is that the solution won't really change my depression and may, in fact, make it worse.. so i am resigned to being depressed but would like to know if there are some coping techniques or other suggestions.

I can't wait to see it either!
Cher looks amazing, but she has had a little too much plastic surgery. Looks a touch like a mannequin. Love her though.

Easy Reader, I am terribly worried for you. I have gone back to read many of your posts in the last two years before I decided to post to you. I wanted to know what kinds of things you were dealing with.
It seems to me that you have been dealing with depression for at least as long as you have been posting. Perhaps I missed it, but I haven't seen where you have been treated for it. Depression is not a feeling. It's a disease. It is not something that you "get over", it is something that people think they get over because they are in remission. A depression that has lasted for two years is long overdue for treatment. Please don't think of depression as something that can be talked out. A clinical depression probably requires medication. If the medication doesn't work, continue to see your doctor until he gets it right. Please look into some kind of counseling as well. You are dealing not only with your own mental health but your wife's as well.
I see where your wife has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. This is one of the two most serious mental illnesses, and many of the things you have said about her may have more to do with her illness than you might think. (Her constant need to be "right" for example.) Bipolar disorder is not only painful and difficult for the patient, it is possibly even more difficult for the family. Those with bipolar disorder not only make destructive messes for themselves, but the ones who love them are affected as well. Many people think this disease is one of just "moods" but we all have moods, it is not the same for a person with BP. Bipolar disorder affects your abililty to control yourself. You find yourself in the grip of the disease, and no amount of reason works. This illness needs medication, and you should see your wife's doctor with her. I would suggest strongly that you educate yourself as much as possible on your wife's very serious illness. If you live with a Bipolar, you need the information. Don't just read some little book, do some research. There are bipolar forums as well.
Perhaps you are right, perhaps it is all the Watchtower, but....in my opinion, for such as it is worth, maybe the problem is more than that.
I know you say you can't afford professional help, but perhaps you can't afford not to.
