  hello friends during the weekend i was in the san diego regional convention and the number of baptisim was way down.. there were 51 who got baptise thats the lowest number i ever seen, the attendance was 14,000 plus .

  on the reacording that wifi bandit put up that RC had 5 people get baptise their last day audience was 2200 on saturday was close to 1900.

  Gayle funny you mention that re-baptism I just saw that for the first time someone got baptise 6 months later they say he is not baptise and a couple months a go he got baptise in a CA it was weird.

  14000 is not a big crowd thats Sunday attendance on Friday there was 11000 we're talking about the bigest RC in California held in qualcom stadium that holds 70000. the Spanish will be this weekend all report on that also.

  the number is extremely low as San Diego is one the last conventions that meet at a stadium there is around 5-6 circuits that meet.

  @never a jw they never say the amount of cost on regional

  @oneeyedjoe there was not IC last year but they a signed other circuits to san Diego From LA but been going to the san Diego convention for over 15 years and never under 100.

  @Gayle the last speaker said the youngest was 12 the oldest 72 around 30 of them were from 12-16

  i took a quick trip to the store and i happened to see a young man (about 26-28 years old) who got baptized about the same time i was leaving- about 2 years ago.

  a couple of pioneer sisters found him in the door to door work.

  one of them, a very attractive girl.

  i guess the branch isn't happy with the amount being sent each month since we are way lower than our loan amount.

  we now have to another financial survey to see the max amount that can be given.

  it is "encouraged" for all to be in attendance and give much forethought and consideration to the amount you can donate each month.

  if the first year of these arengment was tough I can imagine next year will be brutal.

  prayer is the act of saying something to someone that doesn't exist.

  above all else, we need to respect ourselves for, if we don't, we are not capable of respecting others..

  thirdly, bow to no one for if they had any respect for you, they wouldn't ask you to bow..

  I beleive and God and think prayer is stupid and a waste of time.

  example last broadcast you had guy who lost his Job but prayed and some months later he found a Job. but all those months he had food and shelter thanks to the government who gave him unemployment not god.

  so if he is Christian or Hindu or budist, he is going get hooked up by the goverment, but try to do that in a third world country you will starve to death.

  in reality I think they whant less growth when you have dumb parts like how to talk to blind people or go visit elderly homes you see that they whant you to waste your time.
