Surprisingly I'm 78% Dixie and I was raised in TN all my life. I've been almost everywhere though. People look at me funny when I call a mobile phone a "handy" because that's the word that they use in Germany for it.

I wish you very much luck, forgetmenot.
I tried the vegan thing so I could "cleanse" my body, but I didn't last for more than a week. I just love meat too much (mmm, rare steak). That and the "alternative" meat (like Gardenburger and Morningstar farms stuff) is just too expensive. Food stamps can only buy so much.

I am feeling better today. It no longer hurts to swallow and yawn, and only my right tonsil is swollen. I think my throat was sore due to post-nasal drip; it's getting warmer in El Paso, the mexican poppies are in full bloom, and so are my allergies.
Oh, speaking of the poppies, I promised some of you guys pictures. I'll try to remember to take some tomorrow. They're absolutely gorgeous!
