Those who have Judeo-Christian perspective: Is Satan a poor strategist?

so supposedly.... the devil had access to all the prophecies written about jesus, right?

it was all "written aforetime" so he knew in advance the details that would help people identify the messiah.

he was aware that, for the sake of god's will, jesus would have to die.. why didn't satan just protect jesus?

Another view on the texts is:

Satan is the fear resting inside yourself, bringing up beasts from the depts of your unconscious mind. Satan induces fear which provokes you to seek safety by trying to gain control through knowledge and domination.

"Do you fear death?" What about trying to work on gaining eternal life?

"Do you fear powerlesness?" What about trying to dominate your percieved adverceries? Or just eliminate them (all)?

"Do you fear life?" What about trying to life and thus all potential dangers?

All you have to do is to give in...and let Satan rule you.

Jesus was victorious over Satan, absorbing all the pain and sufferings and mockering Satan could throw at Jesus.

And thus Jesus gift is: "No fears" if you believe, if you choose life.

Children have basic human rights, why does the US ignore this right in regards to JW's Blood Doctrine?

i can't physically or sexually abuse my child, at least legally.. why?.

because my country, and others alike, have adopted a code of ethics surrounding children.. ...they have basic human rights.... these rights transcend the family unit and it's jurisdiction.. that being said, how do jws hide behind "freedom of religion" when sentencing their children to suicide?.

why can't i start a religion that says it's ok to murder people?

Child: Yes. But I have checked everything very thouroughly. It i because I want to do this, not because I am told. I truly wish, to throw myself off a cliff. It is a conclusion I have come to all by myself. I have not been pressed to do anything I do not wish to do.

Judge: Yes. You seem like a clever kid and will most certainly not berob you of your godgiven right. You go throw yourself off that cliff and I forbid any meanspirited persons to try and stop you.

Child: Thank you judge. I like you very much.

(The child turns to look at its parents and smile to them. When looking at them it is clear they are very proud of their dear child for standing up for their faith.)

John Lennon and JW... (...a credible source)

ok.... of course john lennon's would be 70th birthday was yesterday.. so just a discussion - and please - no hate'in... just some discussion.. but i personally know of a very high ranking jw member (think highest you can basically get...) who related this story to me how some jw's talked to john lennon shortly before he wrote "imagine.".

when he told me - he did preface it by saying it was "hearsay..." that he couldn't prove it.. but listening to the song tonight - i could see how it could be possible.. thoughts?.

At the Pioneer School (in Denmark) I was taught to say this, if one claimed to be an ateist:

"Really! How have you come this far"

Now he only had to take it one step further and become a jw, the teacher old us (was the CO in my Circuit at the time)

JW is all about breaking down peoples faith, exclaiming that religion is rotten to the bone, and the replace it with membership of jw. So the mindset of jw is not that far from the lyrics in John Lennons "imagine". He only had to take it "one step further"...

My teacher in socialology was once employed in the local "Social office for childcare" department. (in Denmark. Lack the correct english description)

He told me it was a rutine, to temporarily relieve the jw-parents of the child custody, and put the child under under guardianship of the local social-office, whenever a minor with jw-parents was to have an operation. He had done it many times personally.

JW: Woaw. It seems like some of my words slipped through. A little corn sown.

GB: He seems like a nice man. You must really go to him again. What will you say to him next time?.......

And thus John Lennon was inspired by Jehova to write "Imagine", one of the most important songs in modern history.

the person on the phone asked me if i was serious about my letter of disassociation and if i knew what that implied.

It may be, that if you wish to enter politics or join various buisness circles, you are asked to disassociate yourself in writing before being admitted.

I believe that when we were baptized had said yes to entering "the Truth" for LIFE. Thus, they still consider us members, wether we DA ourselves or just disappears silently (if possible). The WTS just changes our status: "Apostate", "Disffelowshipped", "Disassociated", "Inactive", "Active", "Irregular" aso.

A far as I know, the elders are still to visit DS'd "members" once every 5 years. That just shows, that once in, they intend to never let you go.

"You can't just tell someone their faith is wrong without offering a replacement!"

i have heard this from several witnesses.. the assert that it is insensitive to expose someone's faith as invalid without offering another more valid spiritual path.. "the jehovah's witnesses don't have the truth, because xyz.".

^ i have been accused of offering a disservice because i can't offer the answers to the questions that i am debunking as fradulent.. has anyone else ran into this obscure argument?.

As jw's we were taught how to make people doubt their own belief, attempting to point out logical flaws and inconcistencies in their beleif. So, the WTS taught us, that once we have broken down peoples original belief, we needed to be ready to replace it with the JW's belief. The same argument went with the biblestudies we may have had; we should be ready to replace the friends they lost (as per preassumption) with ourself and "friends" in the congregation.

It is just the learned WT-strategy to draw people into the Organisation, that is unconsciently reapplied on other issues.
