If JWs are doubting their fellowman, they will be distracted from scrutinizing the GB.

Today's WT study!. Watch out for the "wicked" in the cong!
by stuckinarut2 inhow strange today's study was!.
warning examples of apostacy, and saying to all witnesses "watch for bad associations in the cong".
talk about paranoia and distrust amongst themselves!.

GB Gerrit Losch and his questionable article in the 7/14 WT study edition!!!
by ADJUSTMENTS inin this article gerrit talks about his father in the first and last paragraphs, what he says about him and his hope for him goes against all that witnesses have preached about the worldly for the last 100 years... as i recall aren't all the worldly supposed to be destroyed and never have a hope of everlasting life like jw's are, and isn't that the purpose of the preaching work to baptize and warn the worldly of this???
if not why do jws even preach, or even become jws in the first place if all have a hope of everlasting life, jw and non-jw, are they releasing a little hint at new light to come???
or am i just missing or over analyzing something?.

I also look forward to observing from heaven the earthly resurrection and, at last, finding my physical father."
Gerrit believes that there is no need for him to prove himself faithful and discreet, he has awarded himself the gift of going to heaven.

I don't understand why you would want to go back either and put yourself in the position of being subjet to the elders whims.
Why are their decisions made behind closed doors and why can't they be open with you about where you stand instead of leaving you on the edge of you seat? This is not a loving arrangement and the fact that they are doing this to you shows the control the excercise.

I don't understand why some people here love to get stuck into Mike and Kim. They come across as very happy people who show so much character and work extremely well together as a couple.
hear the phone conversations we have with those leaving.
The amount of time you devote to your cause and in helping others is commendable.

Ashya King's mother in the newspaper before
by blondie inparent of brain tumour boy ashya king hit the headlines when living in milton keynes.
the now-famous mum of brain tumour boy ashya king hit the headlines here in milton keynes when she was pregnant with him, the citizen can exclusively reveal.. determined nagmeh king donned a placard over her six- month bump and paraded the streets in a bikini during a battle with a private school five years ago.. she and her husband, who braved arrest to get the right treatment for ashya, lived next door to the grove independent school on redland drive, loughton, for several years, and were prominent members of the citys jehovahs witness community.. a war of words involving lawyers, council official and even police erupted when the school chopped down a boundary hedge, which the kings insisted was theirs.. the row had rumbled on for five years without any resolution until 2009, when then-mum-of-five mrs king took matters into her own hands.. i have walked outside the school with my placards between 8am and 9am every morning, she told the citizen at the time.. im not protesting im just spreading the word as a jehovahs witness should.. other parents complained as she mounted one protest dressed only in her underwear.
but mrs king insisted she was wearing a bikini.. its not shameful or wrong to wear a bikini when youre pregnant, she said.. a neighbour said: it is a crazy sight a half naked pregnant woman protesting outside a private school.. the kings, who described themselves as missionaries at the time, became even angrier when they replaced the hedge with a fence and the school removed it, saying it was on their land.. the family was accused of dumping rotting rubbish on the disputed boundary line, hanging washing outside the window of school head deborah berkin, and playing loud music during school hours.. milton keynes council confirmed it had been called out several times by the school over dumping, while environmental health officials were monitoring the music levels.. mrs king vowed she would continue to fight, saying: the school had no right to take away our privacy.. three months later little ashya was born.. today jehovahs witnesses across the city are remembering the family fondly and praying for ashyas treatment to be a success.. meanwhile neighbours who once watched mrs kings bikini protests are full of admiration for her courage in defying the nhs.. one said: she is a woman not scared of doing battle.

The GB are flush with money, being able to take their wives on these holidays. With so many cutbacks and laying off long time Bethelites you would think that they might realize that taking their wives with them on these trips is an extravagance they could easily do without and therefore saving the sheepies money for more important uses. Most business people don't get the benefit of taking their wives and generally they would consider it a distraction anyway. The President would be one notable person who travels with his partner, the same as the Queen and this is done for strategic reasons.
It may be a matter that these highly moral men need to have their wife with them to keep temptations away. So much for putting Kingdom interests first.

For 46 years Jehovah's Witnesses compromised their worship in Mexico to retain ownership of material property

DHH here is the quote from the 1995 yearbook
La Torre del Vigía de México—A Cultural Society
"You will recall that back in 1932 La Torre del Vigía de México had been authorized by the government. However, there were obstacles because of the restrictions that the law imposed on all religions. Objections were raised to the house-to-house activity of the Witnesses, since the law stipulated that ‘every religious act of public worship must be held inside the temples.’ For the same reason, objections were raised to our conventions in public places. This was a problem, because these conventions were constantly getting larger. Owning property also presented problems, because the law required that every building used for religious purposes had to become federal property.
For these and other reasons, the Society decided that it would be wise to reorganize, with a view to giving greater emphasis to the educational nature of our work. Therefore, on June 10, 1943, application was made to the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs to register La Torre del Vigía as a civil society, and this was approved on June 15, 1943.
With this rearrangement, singing at our meetings was discontinued, and the meeting places became known as Halls for Cultural Studies. No audible prayers were said at meetings, though nothing could prevent a person from saying an earnest prayer silently in his heart. Every appearance of a religious service was avoided, and truly our meetings are designed for education. When Witnesses in other lands began to call their local groups “congregations,” the Witnesses in Mexico kept on using the term “companies.” House-to-house visits by the Witnesses continued, and with even more zeal; but direct use of the Bible at doors was avoided. Instead, publishers learned the texts by heart so that they could quote them. They also made good use of the book “Make Sure of All Things,” which is a compilation of Scripture quotations on many subjects. Only on return visits and on studies (which were termed “cultural” instead of “Bible”) was the Bible itself used.
The principal work of Jehovah’s Witnesses remained the same, namely, preaching the good news of God’s Kingdom." -

Why can't you simply order the Pioneer book at your Congregation? I'm sure there would be no problem supplying this highly educational book to any JW with a sincere interest in the house to house wrok.
