It would appear that financial decisions are not made by the g b but rather the members of the wtbts -

A question to ask about the two witness rule for reporters or the RC
by scary21 insomeone posted about this not long ago but i could not find it.. in deut.23:25-27 it talks about the girl being raped in the field, and no one is around to help her.
she is not to be put to death .. she did not sin.. the man is to be put to death.
how can he be put to death on her word alone ?

No, it is not a good question to ask. It's been dealt with at the rc several times now. -

Amazing how disorganised this org appears when it's to their advantage. -

Good on Stewart to mention jws morality in front of O'Toole, especially since O'Tooles over emotional outburst regarding the abuser being discussed. -

They were probably required to provide it with all the other documents requested by the commission, they could be in trouble for this -

Rodney Spinks' Performance
by maksutov init seems like there has not been as much discussion here about the rc testimony on day 6 (4th august) as there has been about previous days.
i was quite surprised by rodney spinks' testimony, which was a marked contrast to the bungling and inarticulate testimony of the elders that appeared before him.
spinks seemed reasonably co-operative, and a lot more willing to concede points than anyone else has been.

A real asset to the bethel branch. Ha ha, he said he was the longest serving in his department. Seems like everyone else left. -

There's no need for Jackson to attend, he could ask any of the other GB members to attend as a replacement. I can't see the commission not accepting that arrangement.

The commission has been very generous in not sending a subpoena for Jackson to turn up in true gentlemanly fashion. They've ignored this generous invitation. It's made it possible for them to select a different GB member who isn't under the same strain as Jackson. They've just proved how unhelpful they are to the commission and demonstrated that they have no intention of really cooperating.

Was that 289 reports of abusers or incidents of abuse in the last 10 years? If it is abusers then this compares very badly to the number for the previous 55 years, being the remainder 717 of 1006,
