JW.ORG on “uncleanness” that displeases God
by opusdei1972 ini have been recently reading in jw.org the following absurdities on their black and white world: .
do jehovahs witnesses have rules about dating?......christians who want to marry are commanded to choose only a fellow believer.
(1 corinthians 7:39) jehovahs witnesses view this command as referring not merely to a person who respects our beliefs but to one who shares and practices those beliefs as a baptized witness.

The organizations explicit definitions relating to sexual acts is just crazy, breaking it down to what physically constitutes loose conduct, gross uncleanness and fornication, with each of those graduating in seriousness. Unfortunately it has had the repercussion that Elders have not taken as seriously as they should have when child abuse has occurred.
I think touching a females breast is only considered as loose conduct regardless of whether it brings a male to the point of ejaculation or not.

Even premarital passion-arousing behavior that stops short of sexual immorality is “uncleanness” that displeases God. (Galatians 5:19-21)Under that statement, even kissing, quoting versus from the book of Solomon, holding hands and giving your partner 'that look' would not be allowed.

This is not advice, it's stupidity. Do you realize the danger you are putting yourself in?
If there is anything at all remotely beneficial from this, it is that, if the same guy responds to your other profile and this one then you know immediately to run the other way.

All the Exhibits have been tendered by Angus Stewart, it is a procedure in which the Documents must be officially tendered as evidence into the Case. -

Toole's argument was that the cases they provided didn't always identify who reported the crime to authorities and therefore there may have been some Elders that reported. Stewart stated that the fact was that no evidence was provided that any Elder reported.
It was made clear also that this was aside from those cases that were subject to mandatory reporting which appears to have been complied with.

My understanding is the list was compiled by the Commission from files provided by the Branch. -

Angus Stewart confirmed with Vincent Toole, who wanted to argue the figures, that thet had provided no evidence that any were reported to authorities by the organization. Toole conceded although he again argued that there was no evidence that some did in fact report to authorities. -

ARC: why the contstant secrecy?
by SecretSlaveClass inanyone watching the inquiry would have heard the org's attorney asking that the documents outlining the stucture and mechanics of the wbts be kept confidential.
all this subversive and clandestine behavior is not helping their image.
what do you all suppose is potentially damnimg in these documents?

It's possible that the latest version duscusses the new procedure about the funds a congregation should hold, direction on whether renovations should be done, amalgamation of congregations, deciding whether new halls should be built and so on.
It's possible it goes into much more detail and instruction than the letters that were sent out to the congregations. In those letters most of the information were for the elders only. The Branch instructions would have gone into a lot more detail and may be contained in the current document.

The WTBTS has had insurance that possibly includes cover for Child Abuse since 1984
by Listener inthis is in a statement made by the australian branch committee member o'brien, the insurance is held by the wtbts pennsylvania.
no doubt the cost of that insurance would be astronomical the more claims they are making against it but it would greatly influence the way they deal with court cases and potential court cases, including settlement.
if they are covered for these claims then their concerns would be more about publicity than the amounts awarded or paid to the victim.. although o'brien states that the cover could possibly include any australian claims he would not have said so or even thought there was a need to reveal the information if the organization hadn't already made claims under their insurance.

This was also in the statement from O'Brien
<<No information relating to the incidence or prevalence of child sexual abuse in Australia,
including statistical information, is provided by either Watchtower Australia or the Branch
Office of Jehovah's Witnesses in Australia (Branch Office), which is located in Sydney, to the
Governing Body, Watch Tower Pennsylvania, or to any other entity outside Australia.>>
If Australia hasn't reported anything to 'entitles outside of Australia' and this would include Insurance Companies then it would indicate that this information isn't required by the Insurance Company. It is likely that the Insurance Company would base their premiums on 'Industry Norms' and claims already made by the Policy Holder..
