thinking back to how they went from votes by the congregation under russels time to private closed doors in rutherfords time so as to not waste time, etc, of other members.
if it really wasn't to hide things from the org, it would have an option for the person it's against to have it open to the public.
a time announced for any members or the person to bring any they want to attend.
They would also get to see how many are repentant but get df'd anyway.
wow, this is awesome.
this really shows the jw passiveness towards child sex abusers.
there needs to be more of this exposing this!.

If the guy trying to hide his face is an Elder, it's an interesting way of protecting his flock.
my fiancé is an ex-jehovah’s witness.
when he was 18 years old, his 17 year old brother was killed in an accident.
his parents having previously lost an infant daughter were understandably distraught and were therefore highly susceptible to an organisation which seemed to be able to supply definitive answers where more mainstream religion seemed to fail them..
I was hoping that I might be able to be a liaison between my fiancé’s mother and my fiancé, but having spoken to his mother this morning, I am not sure how welcome that will be. She said that I might be able to call her every six months or so and that it is all scripturally based
You could continue to try to go down this track. There is no reason scripturally why she can't talk to you often. You have never been a JW and those rules do not apply to you. You could tactfully ask her about this, as well as expressing your desire to get to know her better
this is a true story.
it's about a sister named henriette venema.
she was a very loyal jw.
i am endeavoring to find a digital copy of the 1946 awake (consolation?
) issue 3/27 page 16.
("3/27" was how the wt pubs index had it.).
Here's another link to JW publications provided by Atlantis
video is entitled "beware of deceit" he uses the letter of jude to show that current day apostates are deceitful and that they use "trickery" to and "twist facts" to try to "grab our mind".
warning: your head might explode.
especially past the 5:30 mark.
Another insincere comment made by Flodin was his attempt to have his audience believe that it was 'a sincere older lady' who had been deceived by an apostate. He basis his assumption on the 'scrawl' the letter was written in.
All these assumptions were baseless. The idea that the person was sincere, that they were female and that they were old.
You would think that he has seen Geoffrey Jacksons handwriting which looks very feminine and the writing of a much younger person.
It's easy to conclude that he has said this to play on people's emotions.
He provides absolutely no evidence that the letter even exists.
it’s been a while since i posted some thoughts of mine concerning the jehovah’s witnesses and the watchtower babble and trash society.
okay, i will be respectable and say it right, the watchtower bible and tract society.
i do, however, think about the doctrines quite a bit as well as the overall doctrines from christianity in general.
Garyneal, it would seem that JWs don't care too much about factual teachings. Some do and they seem to make some sort of sense out of it. However there is a point in time when their beliefs become emotionally based. I think this is perhaps what you mean by 'following their heart'.
well it took awhile.
i've downsized.
got rid of my bmw.
That does come as a surprise Quarterback.
If you accept it will be a big adjustment for you both. For many Bethel is not what they expect. Many must love it because they stay so long.
If your wife hasn't been working I would imagine that the change will be huge. To be honest I made that comment about a good husband respecting his wifes feelings because of the general attitude that JW men display. There's even a little section on this months Broadcast where the Malefants (I think) are being interviewed. Their appointment at Bethel was because they wanted his services, the wife was required to be supportive and accept anything they gave her. She explains that she was not looking forward to their appointment at Bethel and the job that she was given. She says she came to appreciate the loving association of the other Bro's and Sis's at Bethel. She made it sound like she really enjoyed the sanctuary of their little world (but never mentioned whether she had joy in the work she was assigned).
