Are the Jehovah's Witnesses really false prophets, perhaps being mentally manipulated by the Watchtower Corporation ? ?

there is a lot of public scrutiny going on these days about the jw religion particularly on the inter - net.

one of the posed questions which gets debated and discussed quite often, are the jws false prophets instigated to preach a tainted commercialized gospel under the direction of the executive leaders of the watchtower corporation ?

these focused men who are responsible for creating the core doctrines of this organization.

I'm having a discussion with a JW on Youtube and their latest comment was this -

Rather than going into a more involved response, I kept it simple and as he was explaining that reading the Bible had ultimately convinced him that 1914 was correct, I replied

<<We know, beyond doubt, that it could not have been 1914 because Jesus also told us that ' this generation would not pass away until all these things occurred'.>>

I'm interested to see if he will respond with the overlapping interpretation, especially after trying to convince me that he wasn't relying on the opinions of the GB.

Good points Konceptual, maybe the Elders saw him as a problem or even knew more about something from his past and were very co-operative in assisting the police.

It would appear they went well beyond their duty when they also advised Police of the following

Thanks Fisherman but the credit for picking up on the story goes to a JW on Youtube who posted a link to it to support the idea of clergy confidentiality.

Nothings come of it yet, it is only a strategy of the defense party, pretty much like the JW org. uses it to their benefit in cases when they can.

i was alerted to the presence of jws in my street, so i grabbed my voice recorder and placed it by the front door.

several minutes later there was a knock, i pressed "record" and opened the door to two jw women.

the recording below runs for 25 minutes.

It was an interesting way that you managed the conversation. You had control all the way and gave very little away about your own feelings or beliefs. It's not wonder the bossy Aussie lady wanted to get away.

her parents are divorced and his mother never became “one of jehovah witnesses “ .

long story short she claims elders are generally hardier on women than men.

Yes, they are harder on females. After all, they have first hand experience that it's the woman's fault for being a temptation to them.

It's a strange practice to watch people getting dunked whilst eating lunch. These people have already dedicated themselves to God and are getting baptized in front of a public audience to show that dedication publicly and that audience just sits there, eating their lunch. It's very disrespectful and makes a mockery of the purpose of their baptism.

Maybe they should have everyone bring their own dinner to the memorial and the anointed can sit on the stage to partake.

Craziest meeting in last 10 years let's compare

hi guys ,i'm new here 27 in 1 year out.. ive escaped 2 judicially by changing congs in rapid escape .i will tell my last dodged bullet.i swear these word as gospel honest.6 years ago in oz i'm in cong only about a year and tensions were running high due to a crazy old european bro ex elder who took no shit from the 10 apostles.i like him i don't know if it was the rebel in me or underdog syndrome but good guy 74years old he was.we just had this big sense the razor were getting sharpened.we arrive at thursday's night meeting my wife was at home so another big boring night i thought,was i wrong.the body has every mongrel breed.the three main characters were the italian dutch german,service committee.we start with song prayer ,the dutchy get up and says we are making adjustments to meeting tonight the arrogant bastard says only bible reading tonight then there agender.dutchy says.what is most amazing is these 10 idiots agreed to this changing of meeting program.

(these words are true)"we have a korah influence in cong and the 10 apostles have established an open judicial committee,the elders said there was evil in our mist .so to root out the evil if anyone has heard a bro say anything against any elders recently the are to report to the three stooges.well dutchy dims light and play the old prehistoric korah movie to the cong ,the bloody creation movie by russell was higher quality.

30 mins later german takes to the stage for the circus to begin.he repeats the dutch mantra ,well the publishers were looking at each other like it was north korea ,could have heard a pin drop,we are all thinking to ourselves we are all guilty of bitchin about the bastards .before meeting had finished halfway thru movie i rang my mate to tell him about "the burning "as the meeting became affectionately known.get home tell wife she don't believe me,within 2 days she believed.it was the talk of area.i had never rang bethel previously because i believed it was heaven and it didn't need my voice.next morning ring service desk in sydney and all i said i was concerned what took place at meeting last night .
