Richard Oliver - Does anyone know how to get the transcripts for this case the full transcript without commentary?
Sorry I can't answer this but in Australia we would contact the Court Registrar/Clerk who would advise what form to apply on and the cost. Here they can also reduce the cost at their discretion. They are very costly. -

Fisherman- Colourful commentary has no merit
It would seem that this is the hard lesson that the Watchtower is learning, or should that be the CCJW, or the GB, or the JW Clergy or the nonexistent clergy, or the secret JW writers?
Fisherman - Plaintiffs only wanted money, money.
Would you believe it, that's exactly what the Watchtower voluntarily and freely gave them and then they complain.

by sabastious ini recieved an awesome document in my youtube messages yesterday.
the person giving it told me it was the best description of the experience he had went through which involved entering and exiting the watchtower over the course of only a few years.. .

Just as an aside, the opening poster - Sebastious looks similar to a Youtuber - exjwphilosophy. I may well be wrong and someone might confirm.
Even if he is not, the Youtube Chanel has some excellent videos, I only recently found this Chanel and the presenter is a lovely, intelligent gentleman.

Unfortunately, I don't see any scientific studies to go along with these ideas.

Reveal article: Jehovah’s Witnesses settle suit alleging cover-up of child sex abuse
by AndersonsInfo inhttps://www.revealnews.org/blog/jehovahs-witnesses-settle-lawsuit-alleging-coverup-of-child-sex-abuse/.
by trey bundy / february 17, 2017 .
the jehovah’s witnesses settled a lawsuit this week brought by a pennsylvania woman who says the religion’s leaders covered up sexual abuse she suffered as a teenager.. the settlement came five days into a trial in which stephanie fessler, a former jehovah’s witness, claimed the religion’s parent corporation violated pennsylvania’s child abuse reporting laws by instructing local leaders – known as elders – not to report her allegations to police.. according to fessler, a middle-aged jehovah’s witness woman, terry monheim, began sexually abusing her when she was 14. at 15, fessler disclosed the abuse to her parents.

Fisherman - What does that have to do with the legal duty of the guardians to protect their child physically?
You blamed the parents for not protecting their daughter which resulted in her continued abuse.
Since the father is negligent in his responsibilities in caring for his family why does the Watchtower not take any action against him? He's an Elder to start with. But surely it's a gross sin to be responsible for allowing the sexual abuse of your daughter and as such, why is he not disfellowshipped?

Fisherman - As a result of the parent's failure to protect their child.
The victims father is an elder. Will he be disfellowshipped for this wilful neglect? Will he be stood down for failing to be exemplary?

Anyone read the latest Awake (on the supernatural)?
by LoveUniHateExams injust read some of this latest awake on the org's webshite.. it begins by talking about the 'supernatural' - wizards, witches, vampires, etc.
- their popularity and why they might appeal to people.
then it goes on to state the wt belief that someone is 'behind it'.. now, i like a few horror/scary films - when i was a kid, i always actually liked being a bit scared by them, tbh.. the silence of the lambs, a nightmare on elm street (1984), the ring, the witch, the thing (1982) and a few others are all great, imo.. they are just genres and subgenres of film, that's all.

Good point. They must prove, in the first instance, that witches, wizards and vampires etc. exist and that they have magical/supernatural powers. Only then can they proceed to claim what may be behind it.

Orphan Crow
He thinks he does a great service for the organisation but all he ends up doing is reminding me of the sneaky, dishonest methods employed by the organisation. Even better, he leaves this evidence on forums for all to see.
