There are some outside homes that are shared by some of the lawyers and the doctors of the family because they have such specialized licenses and not just anyone can do those wtypes of jobs.
Instead of 'of the family' do you mean 'with a family'? Why can't children live at Bethel as well? There's more than enough land to build specialised units on that would cater for families.
There must be so many female Bethelites who are sad that they can't have children due to Warchtower rules and their selfish husbands, to see others treated and catered for specifically just because of their worldly qualifications must be very hard to take. Not treating your slaves equally is unscriptural.
Also many of the homes are converted where multiple bethelites will live in with a centralized kitchen and living room and each room will have one or two bethelites. Like Walkill had the W house it was like 10 minutes away from the main complex and something like 12 bethelites live in it. A lot of time when they bought these parcels it was owned by one person and instead of tearing down a perfectly good house they just converted them into bethel rooms.
Surely it would be cheaper to accommodate them at Bethel. It doesn't make sense that they did all this planning for Warwick and there's still not enough accommodation.
Rather than accommodating 12 people in a house, they could sell it. 12 people in a house, with one kitchen, one laundry and maybe two bathrooms sounds uncomfortable.
There are also weekend cabins and homes that can be checked out on the weekends or during vacation time. It gives the bethelites someplace that is free but that they can get away from their normal routine.
You mean there are some that want to temporarily escape from the happiest place on earth?
Us regular folk can't afford a holiday house and most of us wouldn't dream of using donated money to have one. What next, free flights to travel the world?
Sounds more like a regular retreat for the GB and helpers to entertain each other and other JWs of note.
