  After watching "the last man on earth" I've been thinking about the paradise

  if you haven't seen will forte's "the last man on earth" on amazon prime, do as its really funny.

  the setting of the story is that 2 years prior a virus has killed all humans except one.... amongst the high jinks are the struggles he has with things like; getting water from the water system when the areas water supply is no longer being maintained, ditto sewerage, not having ready access to fresh foods that require industry like butter and cheese, not having access to medical help, being unable to communicate with anyone outside of shouting distance, having no electricity / electronic appliances.. it's got me thinking, all the wt's illustrations show the time when armageddon is over as being really joyful and there being plenty for everyone.

  but in fact that would just not be the case, especially since most jw's have no survival skills or expert knowledge of any kind.. jws just don't think about this, how are all those couples who are waiting untill the new system to have kids, going to have kids in a survival setting?

  There is also the changes that would be required to the human body. What happens to that hip or leg replacement that you had done pre Armageddon? What about all those other surgically implanted bits and pieces?

  Tight pants dilemma solved

  the principles that we glean from god’s word should move us to avoid wearing clothing that is tight-fitting, revealing, or sexually provocative.

  that would rule out wearing clothing that exposes or accentuates private parts of our anatomy.

  nobody should feel uncomfortable or forced to look the other way when seeing how we are dressed.

  Morris the III has as good as said that he has a problem with tight pants on men. Since he's likely to be in the minority, the simple answer would be to remove his glasses.

  so, according to wt doctrine, we are brothers, right?

  so, if we are all so-called brothers, that we all have one father, right?

  if we are just friends of our creator, then we are not brothers.

  It's just an endearing term to make the friends feel closer to one another in the Congregations. The real reason the terms are used is to deceive the OS into a false sense of position.

  no doubt this was what he experienced at a memorial he attended last night.

  Of course the Elders have the right to kick someone out if they find them being an annoyance or threat. Who says that they don't have that right?

  Sign JW Data Protection Form Or Else!

  in spain (and the rest of europe), the "improved" data protection laws come into force on 25th may 2018. this is a good thing and sadly america is still lagging behind; not surprising with their current president!.

  watchtower legal department are hot on the case and have instructed elders to hand out the new "release" forms out to all the publishers in their groups, whilst making it clear to them that they won't have any privileges if they refuse to do so!.

  note these points in the instructions:.

  11. A parent or legal guardian might refuse to sign the Notice and Consent for Use of Personal Data form for a publisher who is a minor. If the minor is an unbaptised publisher, no personal data should be collected for him. Nor should a Congregation’s Publisher Record card be kept for him. The report of field service activity may be collected from the minor as long as his name is not written on the report. The count of the individual and his activity may then be added to the Congregation’s Field Service Report (S-1) that is submitted to the branch office. If the minor is a baptised publisher, two elders should contact the Service Department for direction.

  They can go into detail explaining what to do in regards to an unbaptised minor publisher but it requires two Elders to call the Branch in regards to a baptised minor publisher for further instructions. That's really fishy and would appear to be done so that illegal/sneaky instructions can be conveyed without having to put it in writing. I wonder if this is the same reason they call the Branch in cases of child abuse.

  If they just stuck to the Bible instead of treating the memorial as a recruiting opportunity, they are less likely to have this sort of thing happen.

  The Elders are angry that their little show has been interrupted and there's nothing they can do about it until after the fact. It must be embarrassing for them as they generally see themselves with the power in the Halls. Ten men surrounding a person is harassment, fear mongering and intimidation. If the ex JWs crashing is seen as bad then the Elders reactions are worse and it is recorded on video and put into the public arena.

  Lloyd’s new book

  i see there has already been discussion over lloyd’s new book how to leave the jehovah's witnesses.

  this includes discussion around his personality, motives and financial gains.

  i have written a foreword for this book, because it is an important topic that has not been covered in such a complete format before.

  Did you get the chance to read his book before you agreed to write a forward in his book?
  
  I believe he is using you to add more credibility to his book. Without a question that is your choice and your personal judgment call to make.
  
  His book, being titled "How to leave the Jehovah's Witnesses" will, I imagine, include his own experience, possibly including what he did right and what he got wrong.
  
  Why am I concerned? Lloyd uploaded a Youtube video before he attended his final JC and he states
  
  

  "I've already decided that I'm not going to be recording it ... and the reason why I'm not going to be recording it is because I don't want anything to hide... do with that information what you will but don't go out of your way to turn my family against me, I'm talking about my wife's parents who we live with, who are already very traumatized by whats been happening we, they rely on us, they rely on us to look after them and I won't have my ability to care for them compromised by these men going above and beyond what's written in the literature and coercing my in laws to shun us even though we live under the same roof. So I have a few things to say to them, in fact the only reason, the only reason I'm going to a Judicial Committee is because I need to communicate to them that just as they have the ability to make MY life a misery, I have some degree of ability to make life difficult for Jehovah's Witnesses in Croatia. I, I do believe that. I don't need to do it, I won't do it if there can be some agreement that my parents in law will be left alone. Some would say it's a threat. I'm the one being threatened here, I'm the one being threatened with shunning and two can play that game. So I just wanted to let you all know what's going on and thanks for watching."

  
  In his own words 'make of this what you will' and I do wonder what is behind all of this. I can't see how he could write a book on how to leave the JWs without going into detail about what was going on here so it will be interesting to read what he has to say.

  it was produced in 2012.it provides a good summary of what blood products are acceptable and those that are not.

  in so doing, it also makes them look like fools since there is no basis for their views.

  i noticed a recent post where it was suggested the store was taken over by hostile means!.

  the person who posted it pretended to have knowledge of why the store changed names but clearly was operating with an agenda!

  one filled with lies, misinformation and deceit!.

  There is so much nonsense they're trying to sell to gullible JWs. Just one example is a tote with "just around the corner" written on it and pretty flowers. I'd link to it but don't feel inclined.

  Who cares if there was a hostile takeover or not, both businesses should be ashamed of themselves.
