It's a funny question, an assertion often has no proof to substantiate it as true, therefore it is possible that there would be no assertion if it could be proven.

Breaking News :Charity Commission takes Wathtower to Tribunal in Britain
by raymond frantz inbreaking news :charity commission takes watchtower to charity tribunal in britain.
two weeks ago we run an article about the abuse case in moston manchester congregation .it would seem that the coverage from the main local newspaper manchester evening news and two national newspapers has alarmed the charity commission the official regulator for charities in england and wales and now for the first time !
they opened an official investigation on both charities ,the local one ,moston congragation and the central one jehovah's witnesses of britain indicating that in their eyes these two are connected and liable for any misconduct .this is the time for a concentrated campaign from all of us to inform the charity commission why the watchtower should not be a called a charity .the article above has a link for the charity commission complaint page .follow it!.

The Commission says this about the organization.
The trustees of each of the charities have indicated to the Commission that they intend to challenge the regulator's decisions to open the statutory inquiries in the First-tier Tribunal (Charity). - See more at: http://www.charitycommission.gov.uk/news/charity-commission-investigates-jehovahs-witnesses-charities/#sthash.LtwSRZX8.dpuf
This organization is unable to subject itself to higher authorities as the bible instructs them too. They should consider themselves as being blessed because the Commission will review their policies and provide some common sense approach to it's management and this is free. Instead they act like the bad little boy who denies he did anything wrong.

Unbalanced way of thinking?
by msconcerned inso, one hot beautiful (not a cloud in the sky) kind of summer day, there was an elder who decided to re shingle his house.
this was on the book study day.
he started early and got all the shingles off of the roof in time for the book study that night.

It's hard to believe that nobody put a stop to the meeting due to the safety risk, with water on electrical lines and coming through the roof with a chance of that collapsing as well.

True Stories from the Tower - Part 1 "From Anointed to Pedophile to Bethelite"
by BluePill2 inbefore i dive into the actual write-up of this experience, let me put some things straight.. i have thought long and hard if i should write more about my experiences during the 10+ years at different branches.
during these years i worked from financial department, service department, home office and different it assignments.
as you can imagine one sees and hears and reads a lot of stuff going through different stations in different countries.

Villagegirl, put your money where your mouth is and report it yourself now that you have been told about this. What's your excuse?
It's pretty hard for anyone to take your comments sincerely when you are acting pretty much like a troll. For instance you said in regards to BluePill2
Why not edit this down to about
two paragraphs and say what you mean and name some names
and tell us what you did , specifically, to help or protect those children
without 'clouding the issue' with verbage and padding
Then you told him not to write a book basically because he doesn't have the ability.
Once again, you are attacking the person, insulting them and putting them down rather than sticking to your point.
BluePill2, I don't doubt the organization reads information that is supplied on this forum. Hopefully it is stories that wake those high up in the organization to see the injustice and lack of proper christian duties.

Recent refinements / changes in WTS
by Da.Furious inwe had our co visit and on his second talk he mentioned we need to be a pillar and support of the truth.
we can do this by accepting and working with all the changes, refinements and the speed of jehovahs organisation moving forward.. he listed the refinements and changes that occurred in the last couple of years:.
1- study edition of wt - allows the society to use more meaty articles and not worry about non jws understanding them.. 2- public edition of wt and awake.

Elders attempted to catch me out
by stuckinarut2 inhey all,.
i had two elders just "drop in" yesterday...walked around the back of my house and all....rude....i happened to be home, and opened the door.... one is doing spring cleaning at his house, and so in general chit chat, they spoke of how we all dont need to keep the bound volumes or older mags anymore, as everything we need is on the website or cd rom.... i just casually said, "yes, but its nice to have the originals so we can see the original wording and info".
one of them snapped his neck spinning so quick, frothed at the mouth and said "what do you mean changes?...nothing changes!!".

You could have told them that they have a lot of faith in the earthly technology but you'd like to keep the printed copies because they may prove to be a real source of comfort during the GT as we may not even have electricity. You might also add that they may prove invaluable if you threw one or two in your Go Bag.

Atlanta Int Convention 2014:The Big Party. Does this look like WT believes Armageddon is coming "soon"?
by AndDontCallMeShirley inhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=potrr2qxhue.
.. if armageddon is "imminent", why is wt focused on sight-seeing, entertainment, travel, etc.
instead of preaching and saving people??.

In true Watchtower Cult behaviour the family can't just discuss their preparation for the convention in a normal manner, they make a family worship night of it. This elevates the arrangements to beyond practicalities and glorifying the GB and their provisions. This is also enhanced by their crazy ideas that these are theocratic arrangements.
It's so funny that they encourage the sheepies to do a dry run, what an honor this must be to be involved in a pilgramage. This is made even more special by the personal appearance of GB members whom they put on a pedestal by advertising that they will be there and telecasted from that location to many others. Yep, they get to see them live, in concert, all for the cost of a mantra ticket - bargain, the City of Atlanta thank them sincerely.
Regarding the scripture of Revelation 7:9 that they discuss, who needs Armageddon when they themselves have already identified who the great crowd of Revelation is? Talk about running ahead of Jehovah. That was supposed to be a future event. I just don't understand why they haven't instructed them to wear white robes.

What's more to blame- the WT or the bible?
by keyser soze inaren't they both just differen't variations of the same lie?
the only difference is the scale on which their impact on humanity is measured.
that, and the fact that the bible can exist without the wt, but not vice versa.. but at the end of the day, what's the difference between claiming to be the inspired word of god, or the one true religion?

The bible is just the tool. It is men who misuse it to promote their own agenda.

"excited with the partnership with downtown Atlanta"
It is clear that this is a promotional video. They are advertising the City of Atlanta, including it's train service. They are getting themselves so tangled in with the World of Commercialism.
In the past we have seen Awake articles written about the Cities that their conventions are being held in and it was obvious that as part of their 'arrangement' for holding a convention they would promote that City in order to recieve benefits that the WTBTS could cash in on. They have moved a long way from actively being viewed as 'no part of this world'.
The original link provided has been disabled. I found I was able to view it by clicking on the link then highlighting the link and pasting it into my web browser. Another method would be to go to the Youtube website then key 'time of your life altlanta convention' into the Youtube search field.
