These anointed are supposed to be going to heaven as kings and priests. You would think that now would be a good time to introduce them to the other sheep,getting them to record their life story and printing it in the watchtower, or at least their names.

a "sign" means evidence from god.
Finkelstein, if they changed the 1914 it would be a real demonstration that they are at least trying to teach truth but they can't change it for many reasons. The main reason is that they have taught that they use it as an identifier. Only they have been able to discern this knowledge because God revealed it to them and this identifies them as the one sole chanel of God..
It is a bit similar to their teaching regarding the identification of the other sheep around 1935. There is no biblical basis for this (that this group was identified in 1935) and they don't claim any but they do claim this was revealed to them. They are not sure as to how it was revealed and a Watchtower a few years ago said it might be through the resurrected anointed ones.
i am not sure if this guy is really from bethel, or walkill, but if he is....this poor guy really tells it like it is from the heart.

These are self imposed burdens that the organization has encouraged. Then they are told to put their trust in God and he will bless you, so who's putting who to the test?

recently it seems very quiet in jw land.. jw broadcasting has been in full swing for months now, nobody bats an eye lid at that anymore.. so the question is, what is next?
the next organisation change, the next doctrine change.
it seems like this is the quiet before the storm.. the way things are going, it's almost like they try and one up their last change, things in jw land get that bit more crazy every year.. i'm hedging my bets toward a monthly public talk broadcast straight from new york.
we were all in our 20's the 1990's pioneers who still hoped the 1914 generation was for real.

at the regional they said they need brothers like crazy, but sisters are giveing out the literature and sisters are handling contranution boxes but yet they say brothers are lazy shiftless following at distance can someone explain this.

and i might say at the outset that this is by no means a pessimistic speech meant to discourage anyone.

While we may take advantage of legal means to set the record straight in harmony with Jesus words we do not engage in smear campaigns with rebuttals either verbally or in print.
AMIII comes across as very sober and sad in this speech, not his normal self. At the outset he makes it clear that his talk has been approved by the Governing Body. This is strange point to make as that should be a given. It would seem that AMIII may have been letting the personal comments made about him get to him and feels the need to personally discuss the issue in his broadcasting issue. It would seem that the individual members have been given special leeway in addressing their own topics in their allotted broadcast.
There have been comments made on here questioning whether AMIII is drunk when giving his speeches, I don't know if anyone has outright accused him of being drunk but I thought it might be good to remind everyone that we must be careful about what we accuse these individual GB members of.
This has been mentioned before but considering the above comment from AMIII it is clear that he is happy to use legal means as it is an avenue available to him. It might not be with the org's money because I doubt they would want to take anyone to court in these instances, it has the potential of exposing them to too much. But AMIII probably has plenty of his own money, he has mentioned that his elderly parents are rich and we have seen how he has his own agenda at times.
But it must all be getting to him.
