  The organisation believes all other religions will be destroyed before them. The only likely way this could happen would be if they were not legally a religion.

  WT Society SEC Records : Hedge Funds, Cayman Islands, Financial Losses - Links

  so my wife and i were curious so i researched some financial links and found records indicating that the wt society has been operating at a loss since the year 2012. as you read the links it shows a loss of 10 million $$$ in 2012, about 16 million $$$ in 2013, and a whopping loss of 56 million $$$ in 2014 - where the expenditures exceeded the revenues for each of those years in the amount i've mentioned.

  also there is a link on this same website with the sec records indicating that the wt society and it's representatives funneled 40 million $$$$ into hedge funds in the cayman islands as early as 2007. if you look online on other sites you can see evidence that indicates the wt society attended hedge fund conferences to look into more shadiness in 2011 and isn't it curious that by 2012 the wt society started showing losses.

  The 2015 yearbook states that $224 million was spent on special pioneers, missionaries and travelling overseas and that there are 24,711 working at branch offices worldwide. It was $200 million in 2013 and $184 million in 2012.

  Maybe the money hasn't gone after all but is simply being shifted into some other entity. The WBTS will be bankrupt but all the money will belong to this new religion.

  It makes sense, posters here have been suggesting for years that the wtbts have been redirecting the money.

  If this is true, there is no money problem, only a problem with the financial viability of the current wtbts. How clever. It makes sense and the easiest way to distance itself from paying out on liability in court cases.

  the us elections suck up all the attention (and it's not even at the candidate selection stage!

  ) but canada actually has a national election today.. first results are starting to come in and so far it's all liberal party.. i think it's time harper and the conservatives got the boot.

  GT that is an amazing ad, even down to the point that his hand actions look aggressive or annoyed when he is throwing away the boards but have a different affect in the second half of the video. (don't want to give the plot away).

  That ad would have cost next to nothing to make but a lot of thought and creativity.

  Event was originally cancelled due to opposition from anti-assimilation group
  Hundreds of protesters turned up to demonstrate outside a Jehovah's Witnesses seminar being held in a municipal building in a city in the center of Israel Saturday.
  Despite police presence, the demonstration against the event became violent, Israeli daily Ha'aretz reported.
  The protesters were angry that after a series of protests and petitions, a court ruled that the Jehovah's Witnesses event could finally take place in the city of Ra'anana, north of Tel Aviv.
  The event was originally scheduled for a couple of weeks ago but after the anti-assimilation organization Yad L'Achim group found out that the seminar was set to take place in a municipality building, representatives contacted city officials who called off the event.
  However, the Lod District court ruled that the municipality's objection infringed on the right to freedom of religion and ritual.
  According to the Jehovah’s Witnesses, the municipality broke an agreement on the use of the sports center due to discrimination.
  On the other side, the municipality said that there was “real fear” the Jehovah’s Witnesses sought to convince children and teenagers to convert from Judaism.
  According to Ha'artez, demonstrators prayed and sang loudly in groups, as the Jehovah’s Witnesses participants entered the building.
  Some of the protesters jeered at the event-goers and tried to convince them not to go in while others simply quietly, according to the report.
  “Any Jew who leaves Judaism becomes a Jew-killer!” one man shouted, accordingHa'artez.

  It's hard to know how hyped up the report is. They state that there was violence but do not detail what occurred.Isn't this what the organization wanted?

  They knew there was trouble brewing because of the events surrounding the cancelling of the original event but went ahead demanding their rights through the courts. They were prepared to put men, women and children in danger, even calling in more scapegoats from overseas. At best they may have thought that swelling their numbers for the assembly would prove safer than having a smaller number or maybe they thought that having more Westerners/tourists would mean they had better police protection.
