  What TV shows were forbidden in your JW household?

  in the u.s., three's company was not allowed.

  it was explained to me that it was an immoral show because a man and women lived together and no one was married.

  the sister who gave this observation was a family friend and we were newbies to the religion.. at least i somehow managed to watch the benny hill show undetected..

  just happy to be alive....can barely move ☺.. a girl who just got her license , and a new suv....thought it might be cool to pass the person in front of her....at a curve......on a two way road!!!!!😠😠😠.

  Glad you got through it in one piece BrandNew. Motor bike accidents can cause horrific harm but are a real pleasure to ride. It's a pity we don't all ride one (or use a side car lol), it would make the roads safer.

  Saturday Let the Games Begin

  the start of a new memorial season is upon us.

  saturday is the day for the start of the invites to look but not touch the bread and wine.

  the "observer class" is a belief unique to jehovah's witnesses.. along with the invite to the masses a special effort is being made this year by the elders to invite all the df's, da's and faders.. along with the invite a copy of the rtj will be left with them.. naturally we will still be treated as pariah's if we do attend but it is the thought that counts.. i am of the "fader class" as i don't wish to rock the boat with my wife and extended family.

  In regards to John 6:52-58 they will say (as per the Insight book)

  jim penton, in his book apocalypse delayed, barely touches on the miracle wheat episode.

  in a 300+ page book, this is what he says about it:"he was charged with financial chicanery, particularly in what came to be known as the miracle wheat episode.

  ... both the miracle wheat and ross cases deserve some comment.

  The Awake is now once every two months, the same with the public Watchtower. So far there has been
  Jan 2016 no 1 public Watchtower
  Feb. No 1 awake
  March. No 2 pub!ic watchtower
  Apr. No 2 awake
  May. No 3 public Watchtower
  The June study edition was just put online, Awake No. 3 will follow shortly.

  It requires 2 elders to sit down together, read the Bible and literature to determine that what a brother is wearing is inappropriate. Then it takes to elders to make arrangements to speak to the brother on the matter.
  Someone needs to tell them that worrying about a neatly dressed brother should be the least of their worries.
  The GB should have a look at their old photos and compare how they were dressed then to how they are dressed today. It will be obvious that they have been ollowing wordly trends.
