I didn't know that Sanderson claimed he was anointed as a teenager although I'm not at all surprised. I imagine he craves the attention.

flin flon, ca.
according to statistics supplied by jehovah’s witnesses canada, about 85 jehovah’s witnesses live in flin flon, with around 100 people coming to each of the group’s biweekly meetings.. “we needed a new hall because the congregation has outgrown the old hall,” said congregation elder kelly flodell in a press release..

since they’ve announced the dates for the next 3 memorials, no talk about this “may be our last one!”.
since they’ve announced the patterson construction project will take 3 years to complete.
let’s also not forget when they designed warwick, they spent money on expensive energy saving technology to save millions in the long run, years and decades in the future.
Notsurewheretogo It makes me wonder how they managed to get it so wrong 30 years ago that they already need an extreme makeover.
I went to a thrift shop in an old Church the other day. It would have been about 80 years old and built from timber, even the old benches within the main hall. It was very simple yet extremely durable to last so many years and many more with little upkeep at a minimal cost. It is obvious that the Watchtower uses its buildings for ulterior motives.
I like how you call it an "extreme makeover" as it reminds me of what is needed of their whole doctrinal beliefs. It's incredible that they will call in thousands of people and request millions of dollars for this project but can't do the same to revamp their teachings to be more in accordance with the Bible. Obviously it's not their priority.
if you have , was it worth what you paid?
?.
We've got a central vac system and I've never used it, the hose is really long and seems cumbersome. We've got two stories as well. I never thought of buying another hose for upstairs.
I just use an extension cord on the vacuum we've got. I'll have to give the central vac a go.

Now I'm getting Dyson ads popping up.
A couple of years ago I bought a cheaper clean air filter vacuum. It's great but I couldn't believe the amount of air filters that need cleaning once I closely inspected it. Most of them aren't listed in the instructions. It's no wonder they stop working or the suction goes a lot of the time.
I watched a YouTube on cleaning the inside if a sewing machine, again there are places to clean that I had no idea about.
It's well worth looking after stuff if you know how.
just wondering hate to give the devil his due.
It is reasonable to believe that Russell stole the idea of no hell fire and no trinity from other religions. Whether these are bible truths or not does not negate this being the case.
It is reasonable to conclude this due to the doctrines he taught in other matters that did come from other people/religions. That includes the calculations used for his doctrine of 1874 and 1914.

Long haired Girl, a cast iron frypan is fantastic as long as it is kept seasoned (oiled) but it is heavy. We went backed to using a strong stainless steel frypan. The trick is to heat it up before cooking and it's great but it does use a bit more oil.
My husband uses the frypan mostly, for bacon and eggs. When we had the non stick pans he still used oil because he said the pan lasts longer and he was right (as usual)😳

Rubadub- Dishes that don't need to be washed.
Lol, I'll have a dozen of those. On second thoughts, they'll probably turn out to be paper plates.
I love to see these gadgets turn up at the thrift stores, if they manage to last that long in the first place. If I'm intrigued, I'll get it.
hi there i am not a jw but i am having bible study.
i came to christianity a few months before and i was searching for the right path.
one of the things god spoke to me about and directed me in was to do away with all the vanity that was in me and now i wear the head covering and the modest dresses.
Loverifgod, if you feel wearing a headcovering is important in your worship of God then who is man to tell you that it is wrong? Beware of serving men rather than serving God.
hi everyone, .
i have been trying really hard to find the court case transcript where steven unthank was in court in australia and one of the wt lawyers or a wt spokesperson said the faithful and discreet slave does not exist.. i hope that this is correct i remember reading about this a long while back and would love to get evidence of this.. i found steven on facebook and messaged him about 6 months ago and he didn't respond, he probably wants to let all this go, and i don't blame him for that.. any suggestions would be very much appreciated.. thanks wgo..
Solaris, I've been here a number of years and interacted with Smiddy all that time. He is genuine and trustworthy. He's a straight shooter, a fair dinkum Aussie. He's not one to make up stories and I'm behind him.
You've got every right not to trust him if you want.
I don't like the way that years after the event you try and plant a seed that the events never occurred, hmmm, reminds me of something.
Some of us were here on this forum (and others like Smiddy had first hand experience) as events unfolded.
If you are sincere about your research then you should consider doing a thorough research on this forum to see a step by step progression of the whole events that took place in real time. In my books it would take a real genius or complete wacko to play this out if it was all fake.
If you do that research, you'll also find that Steven Unthank was involved in a lot more than you probably have yet to hear of.
You might also like to google Steven Unthank and the Victorian Royal Commission and child abuse, just as one little point of reference. I do believe that his work in this Commission, as well as Steven Unthanks long suffering work of trying to expose their reluctance in getting Working with Children clearance certificates for Elders, may have been a catalyst to sway the ARC to include the Jehovahs Witnesses in their investigations and that has proven to have a huge impact on the religion.
psychological changes in the vocabulary of the wts.
i have been reading the publications of the wts since i was 6, 60 years now.
we were too poor to have more than one subscription for each magazine so i had to wait until my mother had read it (she let them pile up).
As usual, so many good observations Blondie.
