Walmart has little paintable christmas ornaments made of plaster of paris. Very cheap and the kids can paint them themselves. They can paint them what ever color they want. That is what I am doing for my kids in the church nursery.

Where were you at 33 years of age?
by DanTheMan ini've managed to survive 33 years (and a couple of weeks).
what a long strange trip it's been.. in spite of some tell-tale signs of aging (wrinkles around eyes, gray hair, mystified and sometimes terrified by the current youth culture) in some ways i still feel like a little kid who doesn't know anything.
what have you learned since then?

I'm 33 now. Still learning and growing. I love the age I am. Even though I have responsibilities, I can still enjoy having fun. I will be forever young.

I think I did something mean the other day. Some JW ladies had been visiting my friends house for a while now leaving the mags. My friend doesn't want to tell them to get lost b/c she is too nice. So the other day the JW ladies came by to leave her the most recent mags. I asked my friend can I have them she said yes. Before the ladies could leave I walked to the trash can and stared them in the face as I threw them in the can. I turned around and walked inside. Would you guys consider that mean?

Religion after the WBTS
by Mysterious in.
just curious who went on to associated themselves with another religion after leaving the watchtower and whether you still follow the bible or not.
i haven't really decided what i believe but i'll consider almost anything not witness related.

I started going to a Full Gospel Church about 3 years ago and I love it. The good thing about going to a different religion is when you decide to go somewhere different you came still talk to those who still go.

Do you plan to donate your organs when you die?
by LyinEyes ini just saw this movie john q. with denzel washington, and it is a great movie.
the subject is about health care or lack of,,, and the need for organ donations.
i have always felt strongly about this and this movie really made me think about doing something instead of just saying it.

I was just talking about this to my husband the other day and I told him that he cold donate all my organs but I did not want to donate my whole body to science. I did not want young medical students to stand over me and laugh while they cut me into million of pieces.

Three days and counting!
by joannadandy inuntil this little guy is back in my house!
woo hoo!.
(he was supposed to be helping grandma pick tomatoes and put them in the bucket--can you see the bite marks in the one he is "helping" with?).

He is such a cutey. I would love to have that tomato he is holding. Slice it, put it between 2 slices of bread with a little salt and pepper. Yum! Yum!

High school sports
by freedom96 inwhen i attended high school as a witness, i wanted to play on the football team.
i would have been very good.
not only was i not allowed to play, i could not even attend the games, for fear of bad association.. did anyone here give up sports because of being a witness?

I always wanted to be on the flag team but it would take away from the meetings. I was allowed to go to games if not on meeting night. I used to feel jealousy towards the girls on the flag team. I also wanted to play softball. I am just now at 32 doing the things I wanted to do growing up. I got to be on a church ball team this summer. I had the best fun and never got corrupted.
