Every one can go in wearing "I AM AN APOSTATE" t-shirts on and sit in the first row. I would love to see that happen.

Mean things that Elders have done
by galaxy7 init was during the drought when alberta and sask were in bad shape for hay.my husband was promised 100 bales (this was before the drought).when my husband was ready for the hay the elder said he couldnt have any ,in the field there were trucks picking up hay which he sold for double the price.so here we were with no promised hay to feed 32 horses.does anyone else have a story?

My sister was DF'd and not going to the meetings and I had brought her 10 yr. old daughter with me to the meeting. My neice loved to comment at the watchtower study. I helped her with the answers. She raised her hand a couple of times to answer but they never called on her. She was upset but I told her that maybe they didn't see her hand since she was so little( I said that to ease her hurt). After the meeting an elder came to me and asked if that was my sisters child? I answered yes she was, He informed me that b/c her mother was DF'd that she could not answer at the meetings. My neice overheard and started crying. I never brought her back and I changed congregations. How can they be so cruel to such little children?

These are my babies. Chia is my oldest, he just made 10. MeNu is almost 9, and Patches will be 7 next month. Chia loves to have clothes on. I was bored one day so I took the pictures of the two boy dogs in baby clothes. The girl dog has glaucoma in her eyes and can't see very well so I didn't want to do her because she would get scared. The boy dogs seemed to love it. I can hold clothes up and chia will stick his head in the hole of the shirt. He is so funny.
edited to add that chia is the white one, MeNu is the red and Patches is the black one.

Son in Hospital.
by Gordy inon new years eve morning, my son (28) ex-jw, da'd 3 years ago, went to see the doctor, he hadn't been feeling well for a while, tired and run down.. they took some blood for a test, at 5:15pm the doctor rang him up to say their was an ambulance on the way his blood count was only 5.7, should be 13. he was very aneamic, which would explain the tiredness.
next day they gave him 2 units of blood and another 2 units the next day.
he had no hesitation in accepting the blood.

When I was on my way out of the borg, I got real sick and had to stay in bed for a month. Not one JW came to visit. It wasn't like nobody knew I was sick. An elder and his wife whom I lived with for 8 months knew. She never came to my house or even called. Right after I got better I met a worldly man ( my husband now). When the elders found out they came to my house to counsel me. I wasn't home at the time, but my mother told me they came by and what they wanted. I was so furious. Don't visit when I am sick but let me do one thing that they consider wrong and here they come running.
Sorry for the hi-jacking of the thread. I am glad your son is doing better. Hope he has a full recovery.

This is such a strange post but enlighting. I thought my family was the only strange one. My mom had 7 kids and every other one wet the bed. My mom also wet the bed as a child though, so I think it is also heridity.

question
by alison ini recently dissociated myself and the elders keep calling me trying to speak and i don't want to hear it then he leaves me a message saying i have to sign a paper saying i'm dissociating myself since when did it become more of a business than a spiritual manner.
i'm not signing any papers.
has this happened to anyone else?
