disfellowshipping
by mamas ini was recently disfellowshipped for being in a same sex relationship with a female.
i understand that it is against bible standards but i do not agree with disfellowshipping in that everyone including my family has nothing to do with me.
i am 18 years old.

Anybody With Sleep Apnea?

do you use a cpap machine or did you get surgery to correct your difficulties?

My hubby has sleep apnea and sleeps with a CPAP. The doctor told him that when you stop breathing your heart slows down then when you wake up gasping for air your heart starts beating very fast. He said after about 10 years of this it causes damage to your heart weakening it. I greatly advise any one who thinks they have this to consult a doctor.

Deadly toys
by Elsewhere inwhatever happened to to good-ol-days when you had to pay attention to where you threw your lawn darts so that you wouldn't kill anyone?.
when i was in first grade my family had a set of lawn darts... not the plastic kind... the kind with the heavy steel spike prodruding from the tip.
i loved to go outside and play with them.

I can remember when I was about 5 or 6 we had few toys so we just had fun doing stuff around the house like climbing on the roof and jump off like wonderwoman. We could have killed ourselves.
I remember this one time the neighbors had these hugh cacti and we all would run and try to jump over them without getting stuck.
I also remember my brother was about 10 or 11 and he had got those ninja throwing stars. He used to throw those around all the time.
What were our parents thinking?

What do you make of this picture?
by heart2heart inmum took this picture in the summer (she loves to photograph flowers, mushrooms and insects) and this one really shocked us - look at the head of the moth!
to us it looks like a little human head!
very strange.

I showed this picture to my husband and he said it looks like batmans head on the moth. If you look close is does. Weird!

Horrible News!
by KKLUV155 ini just found out today that a lady i had know for several years now had a horrible tragedy happen in her family.
her 8 year old son died yesterday from a gunshot wound to the head.
what i was told is the 8 year old told his older brother he was going out to shoot a rifle and the older brother tried to take the gun from his brother and the gun went off and killed him.

This is an update, I went to the wake tonight and it was the most horrible thing I have ever been to. I found out it was not the 8 year old but the 11 year old who got shot. The older brother is 15. The father really loves hunting and has raised his sons around guns and has taught them safety, but the oder son has a mental disorder and would not take his medicine. The police is investigating that maybe it is not an accident. The fathers brother said that they removed 21 guns from the house. All were unloaded and the ammo. was put up. They don't know where the shot gun shell came from. The father did not have a heart attack just chest pains. Tonight at the wake the father passed out and they had to call the ambulance. Then the older brother passed out and then the mother. It was a very sad situation. The number of people there was unreal. I am greatly greived for this mother. The stress and pain she is going through. So sad.

When the dad found out what happened he had a heart attack and is now in the hospital. My heart aches for this family and their loss. The boy was a very cute kid. Sweet and kind. I have often told his mother things like "he is going to be a heart breaker when he gets grown" and now the horror. I feel sickened and shocked. All please send prayers to this family.

SPIDERS!!!!

i rush from my bed and grab the vacuum cleaner and flip the switch...........and voila he's sucked up safely and hopefully very dead inside............feeling much safer and again serene, i climb back in bed and pass an uneventful, peaceful night.

How did they remove it?
They had to use hemostats (spelling?). He said it came out in peices. After they removed all of it they flushed out the ear and gave him drops to put in to keep from infection. Now he makes sure not to sit in strange peoples houses.
