by Hortensia init's interesting that i don't see as much comment on the shooting of the volunteer firemen earlier today as we saw for the shooting at the school in connecticut.
it's just as horrible an event.
how terrible that these volunteers who got out of bed to fight a fire, dangerous enough, were used as targets by some nut with an assault weapon.

Ok, I have a lot to learn about posting here. I hit the wrong button. Again, sorry.
My story in short is I am serving as an elder in Oregon (dont want to say more than that). I'm single but have scads of family in the truth. I have been lurking here for quite a while but saw a post a while ago where a bunch of other brothers were sort of sharing their stories and decided to take the leap. I have serious doubts at this point but dont know if I'm quite ready to pull the plug on it all. Thats it in a nut shell. I appreciate all the info here and look forward to sharing in the future..
