i forgotten to mention, that i have been d´fd for about 8 years.
but i wasn´t alone to blame. there were nasty things happening with the bros at that time, wich got me into depression and other kinds of mess.

Hi,
I had a phone call recently. Two Elders want to come round.
Now I´ve been out for approx. 8 years. During that time I never had a visit from any JW.
A lot of unpretty things happend before I left, and there are also many things unspoken I would like to get off my chest.
So I basicly agreed for a potential meeting one day.
My intension is to start off by being very polite and talk positive. And after a while I´ll come up with all the facts and disappoinments I experienced.
I know some of you might say to not even bother. But there are some points that still spin in my head i would like to get rid of, in order to have some kind of peace of mind.
Another thing I would like to ask, is the question whether they have contacted me, because they´ve received a letter from the CO, or if it was their own decision.

by varian inhi everyone.. i just applied for the renewal of my british passport.
it really costs a fortune to have it done.. i had to have new photos taken too.
the pictures has to be to the according requirements.. now they ve send me an email, saying that my head was too close to the camera.

now they´ve send me an email, saying that my head was too close to the camera. well, what really pisses me off (apart from spending another amont of money again), is the fact, that muslim females are allowed to wear a cloth over their heads!!!
can you imagine that? it´s because of those muslims, the restrictions have been set up to a higher standard....wrong world, isn´t it....

Comparing time spent door to door preaching versus time spent door to door window cleaning

in the past i have done a fair bit of window cleaning like many a jw.
one motto that we (fellow jw window cleaners) used to say was ''time is money''.. occasionally, to help with pricing and efficiency we used to count and record how long each house would take.

i remember 3 witnesses studying with my friends kid for an hour. so all 3 count their time, adding up to 3 hours. in actual fact, it should be counted as a one hour bible study, right?

by varian inhello all.. i m really getting into this subject now, and i recently posted a question a while back, regarding this topic, so sorry if it appears to you, that i m repeating myself.. the thing is the same: i just can t suss out, why the wts considers meditation, or call it relaxation technique, as non-biblical.. i m not talking so much about religious, or far east meditation, rather the positive effects of this practice.. so, in other words, the wts is saying, by relaxing the body and mind, you re giving the devil the chance to enter your brain or whatever, right?.
don t they claim, that the demons have no effects on our mind?
there are no biblical examples, are there?

Do you think the British are a proud nation?
by not bitter ini think we are to a degree but i think its on a different level to the americans.
the impression i get (from watching us tv and news) is that the majority of americans come across as being proud to be american and quite a possitive nation.
whereas us brits will display pride as a nation when we have to.

i immidaiately fell in love.
we met the following day again, and arranged another date for tomorrow.. well, yesterday she sent me a text message, stating that she no longer has an interest in seeing me again, because she discovered other pics of myself on other dating web sites.

thank you all.
her reason for checking out the other sites, begann when she noticed my log-in time at the site we both met. she basicly asked herself, why i am still active on that board although we are dating. i can´t blame her actually. the truth was, i didn´t use the site. i was just seeing whether she has a new message for me, that´s all.
that´s why she decided to check out other dating sites.
i think the best thing i can do is delete them in her presens, like some of you mentioned.

well, yesterday she sent me a text message, stating that she no longer has an interest in seeing me again, because she discovered other pics of myself on other dating web sites. she thought that i was playing some kind of games with her. the truth is, i haven´t used these sites for ages, and can´t even remember what i wrote in them. it took me almost a whole day to convince her, that i am not that type of guy she thinks i am. so now she has gave me a "second chance", and we will be seeing eath other tomorrow.
i have only interest in her. the last woman i met via internet, was a few months back. and that didn´t work out due to a long distance between us.
i haven´t got a clue what to say to her tomorrow. how can i convince her, that i mean it serious with her? whats the best thing to say in order for her to trust me?
