  Wouldn't the predators on the ark have eaten everything by the time the 40 days was over?

  let say noah did manage to get all the species into the ark... about half of them would have been predators and the other half natural prey.. are we going to belive that they went without eating for 40 days and nights?

  or the ridiculous theory as the wt would have it that noah fed them nice tasty bales of straw which they happily munched on?.

  and even if one of these two exhuses were true, when the animals were let out of the ark into a world now deverstated by a flood, then wouldn't they have continued eating eachother???

  Do you remember studying Greek mythology in school? Zeus, Neptune, Perseus, Atlas, Jupitor, ad infinitum.

  Old Testament creation stories and New Testament visions all fall into the same category. But only JW's and other fundies take them literally.

  I think that your reaction reflected your feelings about the situation at that moment and no one has the right to second guess you.

  I have found myself in similar situations. I have resisted the temptation to "sucker punch" some poor soul who is doing exactly what I did many years ago. I will take the lit and wish them a good day. If only they knew, tsk, tsk,

  On the other hand I have had encounters with JWs that hit me 'wrong'. Maybe a cosmic collision of personality and my own mood. I will blister the paint off their car as they escape.

  Interesting point, highdose. But it led me to another observation. the herbivores require fodder, grass, hay, grain, etc. in such amounts that the sheer volume of such feed would be astronomical. Probably a greater storage volume than the ark itself? I'm sure a competent ag student could calculate it easily.

  Yes, Americans have a great work ethic. They just need work. A vacation implies that you are doing something you enjoy for a few days and then returning to your job. Being unemployed is not a vacation.

  I am going to go out on a limb here. Sometime after the first of the year the Supreme Court will have Obamacare in front of them. It doesn't look good for the President. He has overstepped the US Constitution. Then there is the not so well kept secret investigation into criminal corruption that includes Obama. And the ATF gun fiasco is likely to expose Holder and Obama's fingerprints all over it.

  I don't think Obama will even be on the ballot in Nov. 2012.

  today is pre-colonoscopy day.

  my second in 6 yrs.

  i had forgotten the biggest annoyance of these degrading procedures.

  All went well. The drug they gave me was amazing. I don't remember anything of that day after Dr.Knock-out said "ok, here we go". So I'm good for another 10 yrs.
