Your best shot would definitely be to join a Christian Singles service.
Am I the only person to notice how many creepy characters who show up in the daily news are involved in Christian related schools, sports, youth groups, etc?
Why, daddy?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8mhluoee7e.
do you like to spoon?.
Yeah, to me spooning is a cozy sleeping position with my wife. "Spooning" as in Doris Days hit song was an expression from a bygone time somewhat like "The Gay Cabalero" didn't mean what it means today.
i used to be a faithful listener but stopped years ago.. he's brilliant and repulsive.
funny and mean.
he loves women and hates them too..
Radio pornograhy aimed at the 16 to 25 year old demographic. Satellite has just made it more graphic and sleazy.
I was in a JC case between a married couple (not to each other) that involved the famouse 'heavy petting". At one time the grounds for divorce was adultery, intercourse with the opposite sex. Then the Watchtower entered into it's notorious "pornea" period which opened up all kinds of sticky situations. This now meant that homosexual sex could be grounds for 'scriptural' divorce. It also included masturbation with another person. In this case the heavy petting had gone to the point of hand to genital fondling and the female told us that the brother was 'exuding fluid'.
He was in another cong. and we had to find out if he had ejaculated. He was questioned and said that he had not climaxed but that it was normal for him to dribble when when aroused. Thus, NO grounds for divorce.
This involved six elders in two congregations in several hours of this tedious Talmudic investigation.
What a load of stupid crap.
Iamallcool - Good advice from Scully. Rabies can be nasty.
"go nuts...." I don't think so.
how do you read?.
i find myself attracted to certain authors and book series.. which reminds me, i need to download the grapes of wrath.. i love steinbeck's writing of historical fiction.
looking into the history of frontier america is so interesting when written in story form.. i read from most genres.. what's your poison?.
Panhandler - I envy you having "Pillars of the Earth" ready to read, one of my faves. However, Follett's most recent tome, "Fall of Giants" was a complete dissappointment in my opinion.
PS Only the Kindle Fire can be read in the dark, which has a big effect on batt. life. The other Kindles require normal ambient reading light.

I have a Kindle 3G. I recommend the cover. Very comfortable to read and the batt. lasts for hours.

NC,
My wife got into audio books when she had a 45 min. commute for a few years and really enjoyed them... I must admit, I have tried them but cannot stay focused and keep rewinding when I realize I have zoned out during a couple of pages!

Yes. Richard Russo!
Can't recall the author but "The Story of Edgar Sawtelle" was kind of a Russo type story that has stayed with me since I read it a couple of years ago.
I will check out the Patti Smith book, Just Kids. My Kindle charges have been getting out of hand!
