  Pronouncing things differently so they don't sound rude. Typical CULT persona. Political correctness?

  i noticed over the years how bros & sis(tm) would pronounce words/names differently or totally substitute them so as not to sound offensive.. egs:.

  instead of 'bible aids' a bro(tm) said 'bible helps' thus avoiding aids disease!?!.

  instead of sodom the bro(tm) pronounced it 'sow dom'.

  A brother assigned to read the paragraphs could not bring himself to pronounce "breasts" which occured two or three times (quotes from Song of Solomon) he substituted "beasts".

  Played a game and it was fun. I will do it again. The interesting thing about the course is that it is all natural terrain. No need of grass. Trees and bushes are the hazzards.

  Rumor: April 3, 2015 start of Great Tribulation?

  on another forum, somebody mentioned that there is a growing belief with those high up in watchtower hierarchy that the great tribulation will begin april 3, 2015. evidently, one has to check the skycharts for that date and compare with 33 ceand also compare with the history of jws for past 40, 80, 120 years.

  dont ask me to verify the rumor...these things come and go.

  im sure lots of people in hq believe all sorts of things.. .

  Breastfeeding in Bathrooms...

  the natick, ma assemble hall used to have it's own room for breastfeeding mothers.

  they changed this room to the accounting room or something like that and now have seats available for breastfeeding inside the bathroom.. there is one other small room available for breastfeeding but they close that off when the baptism is going on.

  needless to say, i used to get so pissed off that they actually wanted me to breastfeed in the bathroom that i would threaten to a brother that i would take my boob out in front of everybody and that is there problem because breastfeeding in a bathroom is unsanitary.. one year they put me in some backroom.

  I loved to watch our little ones nurse when they were really going for it. They would make that gulping sound and little beads of sweat would appear. Roll their eyes around and reach up and grab momma's nose. If something distracted them they would unlatch and check it out with a trickle of milk on their chin. Too precious!

  I would like to know what an honest monthly field service report for a GB member would be.

  Get up, put on a dull suit and go down for breakfast with the little people. Do the daily text. Deal with the sycophants kissing up. Go to a business meeting. Go on a chaffuered drive upstate to check on new construction, etc etc.

  Maybe set down around the big table in the afternoon and talk about sexual positions.

  Go to dinner or have it brought to your apartment. Watch TV. Go to bed.

  How much time was spent preaching directly to the pagans?

  We have been through a few pounds of Dubliner since we discovered how creamy & tangy it is.

  We have visited the Tillamook creamery on the Oregon coast a few times. They make some really delicious white and yellow cheeses on the 'sharp' side. The dairy farms literally surround the plant.

  I guess it is no coincidence there are also couple of well known jerky brands mfg plants nearby.

  Yes, David and I were pretty good friends. His wife, Yolanda, was a pioneer. Very nice young woman. He was always a go-getter. My uncle performed their marriage in his living room. Same uncle introduced him to wine making and when I once experimented making champagne (3 bottles) it turned out delicious and he was one of the few I shared a glass with. !Almost forgot, I helped him do his income taxes at my kitchen table one April 14th.

  I liked him and was always aware of his energy and ambition. Once he and I were helping to move a friend and I rode with him in his pick-up. One of us had procurred a pint of Kessler blended whiskey which we passed back and forth during the 40 minute drive. He had just bought a foreclosed house, fixed it up, and sold it for a nice profit. He said, "Greg, I am going to beat this old system at it's own game..."

  I think the Annointed thing was just an early sign of his ambitious nature.
