  Well said. There is plenty of evidence that JW's are an unhealthy cult with a lot of mental problems. But there is no point in making this tragic suicide was because of the cult unless it is very conclusive.

  Oompa had his own inner demons. Being enmeshed in the JWs didn't help.

  Makes quite an impact to see appropriate justice carried out so swiftly by happenstance instead of the 'system'.

  I believe his counsel made some kind of plea deal to avoid the death penalty. So he knew it meant the rest of his life in prison. Glad he was furnished with a private room with clean linen.

  i remembered the name of a pioneer sister i knew from the mid 80s.. i looked her up on facebook.

  i found her under her maiden name as she was married when i knew her.. however she is now married to a patricia and is a lesbian and has exjw links on her page.. an expioneer,exjw now lesbian.
