  i wanted to know if anyone on here was df'd or know of any who were...why i ask is because many of the friends i have spoken to, say it's not done, just like that.

  it's a process.

  i have spoken to a re-instated sister and she said by the time they see you, you are pretty much out.

  As far as a "process", yes. It can be as simple as a meeting with the elders (Judicial committee) to ask you if what they have heard is true. If you deny the accusation and there was only one witness, it could be dropped. If they have two or more witnesses and it is undeniable, then you can express "genuine repentance" and it would be reduced to public reproof. I have been on JCs that went on for weeks. Others were acted on within a few days.

  If they call and ask you to meet and you say "kiss my ass", the DF'ing process can be speeded up greatly.

  PS If you can see that it is going to a DF status, you can get busy and submit a resignation from the cult, aka, a lettet of disassociation.

  I have not been an elder for over 30 yrs so some things may be subject to "New Light", etc.

  first of all, i haven't been to a meeting since this summer.

  i actually had a better plan for fading but of number of things happened where i decided it was best to go "cold turkey" (one of the biggest things that caused my exit was that an elder at my last shepparding call who said he thought i was suicidal when i really have no attention of killing myself).

  so when the phone calls, emails and texts started coming, ive been ignoring them all, except those from my family.

  When a 13 year old messes with a 5 year old, ( I still call a 5 yr old a baby) it is molestation at the minimum. When it is hidden from the parents by the 13 year olds parents it is a perversion of sickening scale. Even the 5 yr old was told not to talk about it.

  The 13 year old is now grown and has absolutely nothing to say. She is a bitch, hypocrit and would like to tell everybody what's right and wrong.

  but... not regional areas and that is where you need government to step in and provide regulation to ensure coverage and fair prices.

  Canada has many 'regional areas'. What is available for a village in, say, rural Manitoba?

  i attended the agm and god, it's as if they are trying to entettain the audience.

  it is like they don't even have a regard to being serious anymore, which makes me sick.

  how am i supposed to focus on what you're really trying to say if all most everything you do say is feignly amusing.
