  Yep. Tea Partiers are recruiting young intmidation thugs as we speak. They are being sent to secret training facilities in Idaho, equipped with mock-up polling places and issued berets and batons.

  Don't ever give up, to much is at stake. The idea is to get people so discouraged and disgusted that low voter turnout guarantees some undesirables election.

  So true, designs. I would just like to mention the other side of the same coin. To accumulate a huge class of dependant voters which guarantees some undesirable elections.

  Of course, Designs. As has been pointed out many times here, the R's and the D's are blurring together. It is getting harder and harder to be optimistic that this monster federal government can ever be brought under conrol. It takes in hard earned bales of alfalfa from the producers and distributes a handful of hamster food pellets back to the causes that good hearted people want to see supported. Demagogury (sic) tears the country apart while the bureuacracy gets bigger and bigger. Organized corruption. Very disturbing.

  It is very sad to see entire generations of poor people turned into hamsters with no real opportunity to get off the wheel.

  I was a registered "R" for many years. A few years ago I couldn't help but see that I was not really an "R", I was a "C" -conservative. Not a religious or social C but a fiscal, anti-big government C. Now I can narrow down what I want to vote for, understanding that I can only choose from the offered menu. I see nominally intelligent people tatooing their affiliation on their forehead and then rather than focusing on their core judgements and observations of the fluid nature of governance they simply go on auto-pilot (A lot like a drone JW). To put it briefly, some people get set in their ways and let their ego and stated positions freeze them at a point in time. This comes from basic laziness and vanity.

  It's a free country, so far.

  Greenfield is certainly a despicable person. It is also true that some people are especially vulnerable utopian sounding teachings that are in fact, deadly lies. Ultimately, adults take responsibilty for their choices. Being taken in by charismatic charlatans in medicine, religion or politics is one of the risks encountered by grownups.

  I am very tolerant of intolerance.

  I think everyone should respect everyone and everything.

  I think we should save the Polar Bears and that everyone be nice.

  As I recall, I am one of AK-Jeffs mentors. He is a smart guy. I also get along pretty well with BTS, another smart guy.

  How well do you sleep?

  for years i've been pretty good at getting a good night's sleep.

  a couple of pages of my book and i'm away til morning, apart from the odd bladder brigade journey.

  however, suddenly, after our house move, i am having just an awful time of it.

  As Lady Lee said, light sleepers may be disturbed by night sounds. You might want to try those foam ear plugs.

  I sleep very well. My routine of reading until the book falls on my face sounds like yours. Yes, a pee-trip or two. The insomnia pattern should be dealt with asap. If you start to be anxious about sleeping soundly then you probably won't. Try an over the counter sleep aid for a few nights.

  No offense to Willy, but his lunsent etter is a good example of the naive, devoted follow who sincerely wants to offer a suggestion or two, having bought into the Watchtowers frequent flip flops and accompanying "we're just imperfect men being guided by J for brighter light...blah, blah".

  We had a 'partaking elder" in our cong. who stayed in regular touch with Brooklyn contacts with suggestions. He had pinwheels in his eyes and must have had frequent epiphanies while laying carpet during the day. From my perspective as a fellow elder he mentioned these contacts like a name dropper trying to be more "inside" than the other schmucks on the body of elders. He eventually had to be removed for a couple of years because he really thought he should have the last word on all cong. matters.

  The other reformers fall into the catagory of undercover apostates trying to undermine the big O. They are ID'd quickly and get reckoned with. The Watchtower comic book doctine of the moment is pretty black and white and questioning it is almost impossible without getting strange looks.
