More anti-apostate rhetoric from the Watchtower - are they running scared?
by cedars inyes, the may 15th watchtower is now available for download from jw.org.. the final study article, on page 26, directs another salvo at apostates - and warns witnesses not to try arguing with them on the internet:.
indeed, we ought to move as far away from wrongdoing as possible and not see how close we can get to it without being overcome by sin.
for instance, we need to guard against succumbing to apostasy, a sin that would make us unfit to glorify god.

They sure as hell are Ordained Ministers. But the question is... so what?
As a former native of Modesto, California there was more than one occasion to have morning coffee at a table of local business men that included the "Reverend" Kirby Hensley, founder of the Universal Life Church who made quite a splash with his Certificate of Ordination that made anybody an ordained minister. They even did a piece on "60 minutes" with a Mike Wallace interview. People could send in their application and receive an official certificate declaring them ordained ministers of the ULC. The controversy involved some tax exemptions, etc.

none of us are perfect, least of all myself, and i would rather focus any criticism on the watch tower society for damaging people's lives.
however, in the short period since i've been a member of this forum i've noticed one member in particular deteriorate in his behaviour into the type of individual who threatens to undermine the credibility of the entire website.

I have no informed opinion about this RF fellow. (But he sounds like a very polarizing character in the XJW realm)
But I know that anyone who criticises the method various individuals use to get their minds free of the WTB&TS are being very narrow minded. Clean Breakers, Fast Faders, Slow Faders, or simply those who lay low and go with the program for their own reasons, they deserve respect and empathy.
