Being publicly religious is a lot like being a NUDIST
by Terry innudists let it all hang out.. "look at me!
" is their motto.. being the center of attention doesn't bother them as much as it encourages them to be all they can be...in full public view.. .
in fact, exhibitionism is at the core of this personality.

My wife and I stumbled upon a nudist section of beach once and it was rather...sad. Droop, overhang, flapjacks, etc. Didn't see any models for Men's Fitness or Playboy. Men especially need to cover their giblets or at least don't move around with them in the breeze. Mixing metaphors, I suppose we should have said "I see you have genitals, how interesting! Tell us more about how you came to the Lord..."

Did you mean 'licks'? If not I have learned a new term for whatever they are doing.

People who do this fall into the category of people who make me feel em-BARE ASSED for them. Nudity is a perfect analogy for this simpletons.

2005 - The year the Society began its decline (without anyone noticing)!
by cedars ini've just finished an article for randy over on freeminds.org, which i've submitted to him for review.
hopefully it should be online soon, so please keep checking!.
the article discusses the fact that the watch tower society is already in decline, and suggests the year 2005 as the turning point.

This is a 'must read' thread. Thanks, Cedars, for all the effort. It is a very clear and honest perspective of the Watchtower org. today and how it arrived here over the last 30 years.
Brant - your personal journey is similar to mine in the decription of the effect over time of the orgs. contradictory and confusing changes to what we thought was supposed to be the 'truth'.

Iceman Mummy Was Meat Eater Pre Flood
by willyloman inaccording to wt chronology, the flood of noah happened about 2600 bce, after which man was allowed for the first time to hunt animals for food and eat meat.
according to the news, the "iceman" mummy discovered frozen, well preserved and the object of much scientific study, is 5,000 years old.
this dates his existence to about 3000 bce, well before the flood.. below is today's msnbc news report on what they found in his stomach, and it raises an obvious question: did man eat meat prior to the flood?

Looking forward to a trip to California. Bay Area, the Central Valley and on down to the Ventura area. Lots of relatives so a big savings in travel $.
