I also get "beer guts" if I drink a couple too many.

Would you support "Open Carry" legislation in your state?
by Glander inmany states have such laws.
it is being considered in many others.
if legal, would you openly carry a firearm?.

Not neccessarily. You could just shoot the gun out of their hand. Roy Rogers did it all the time.
But seriously, a gunshot from a 9mm pretty much disables no matter where it hits. A stun gun...? I don't know. What if the batteries were old and the barb wire dribbled out the end or went into a big down jacket? Suddenly you get that road runner look on your face.

I can't recall the number of times someone in the field service group came back to the car with a beaming face, saying, "... they told me off and slammed the door in my face...!" giggle giggle
I peronally know of older folks who had had bible studies with an agressive JW (the "free, home" brand) and dumped their family religion, (typically Catholic) and suffered terrilby because of it.

I don't think I would want to be jacking around with a stun gun when confronted by a weapon aimed at my head or a member of my family, or for that matter, a co-rider on public transit, etc.. At least a firearm could stop the person a nanosecond or two sooner, thus saving a reflex shot from a real weapon. Leave the pepper spray and Tazers to the cops.

Let's walk around here and look at this from a different angle. WHO are the persecutors?
It is Jehovah's Witnesses who have based their entire faith on attacking other beliefs. They love to go right to peoples doors and try to find a person with some religous faith that they have been trained to destroy.
This ties in to the subject of past threads asking if it is cruel to show a lifetime JW that they have been duped . If you can dish it out...etc.

BOTR"....I also like it with potato salad...."
Yeah, a few beers with a good potato salad -not stingy on the hardboiled eggs and chopped onions...a couple of bangers... you got it sweety!
Stay away from any sources of open flame that evening.

Damn! I consider myself an epicurian adventurer and it frustrates me that i have never had a chance to try vegemite. I read the WSJ article that day and once again said to myself, where can I get a taste of vegemite?

I tend to agree with Jonesy. In some circumstances and especially with the right food, I love a cold beer. But just to swig it instead of a cocktail or even lemonade, it gets a wang very quickly that I don't like.
Somewhere on this site is a photo of me and my cousin in an English pub holding pints of good English beer. I enjoyed the hell out of that trip because my cuz is a beer nut and it was delish. But it is not my day to day drink.
