  JWs came to my door asking for deaf people

  two ladies came to my door asking for deaf people.

  it was a wham-bam-thank-ya man type of approach, they seemed eager to get to the next door.. all i gathered from their presentation, if i were just a normal householder, was that they were from some sort of religious group (they did not give their name) and that they wanted me to freely give out names and phone numbers of the deaf friends i know.

  i said i didn't know any deaf people and they were on their way.. i knew exactly what was happening, but for most people it would just be an odd break in their daily routine.

  my husband comes from a deff family in america and he went to deaf meetings and most were deaf not just a few all exept a few,theres loads of deaf congs,and they know diff from anyother jw just cant hear thats it,so waht if they are only looking for deff people at the doors they are looking for anyone thats willing to listen,theres loads of deff jws in america i dont know about uk,and if they deff or hard of hearing they would ask at door if anyone else was also makes it easyer for em to talk if thers some one same,

  Stupid rules

  there was no end to the amount of stupid rules put in place.

  one that always bugged me was "no shirts with slogans when doing kh yard work or at jw gatherings.

  id always get talked to about it when i'd wear shirts with a band on it or whatnot.

  no beards no long hair for men why not god gave em the hair to grow,must wear dresses skirts grr hated it ,got told off once for wearing a top that was vneck line and was a bit low im flat chested i dint think it matterd lol,had to keep kids quiet at all times and couldnt take em in libry or in back room,so it was either beat the crap out off them in toilets and befor i got there just to warn em all to keep quiet not move a muscle or just dont go at all i chose not to go to much stress i got 8 kids,cant gamble or do sport but bro simon wa having gamleing at his house every weekend, playing poker and football games, i had to wear long sleeves as i had a tattoo on my arm,being bugged for reports kids not alowed to touch curtains or walk about on there own together not alowed to bring prams in to assembly hall or pushchairs so had to hold babys on my knees at assembllys and cope wi 6 other kids, the rules r endless stupid hard work

  yer my son is self employed and is a salesman and becouse of the door to door experiences he had growing up hes come on leaps and bounds in his company hes with and is now gona be assistent manager becouse hes so good at goin door to door and talking with people and dosnt take no for an answer at the doors lol

  "The Disfellowshipped Are Dead To Us"

  i had a conversation with a friend previously mentioned on this forum.. http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/members/private/206541/1/dinner-with-one-of-my-best-and-most-liberal-jw-friends.

  we were speaking about a mutual friend who was disfellowshipped, and i mentioned that i missed them and wondered if they were okay because it wasn't like disfellowshipped people were dead to us...and he immediately responded "oh yes they are!".

  this is really out of his character to say.

  its totaly true that jesus only spent time with the ones that needed help not the ones who didnt need it,jws are deff not the true religion on earth not gods only people,gods chosen ones are exactly that his chosen ones not the elders or governing bodys chosen ones.or the self righteous ones.

  it helped me gain knowledge of the bible more take more notice of gods word,even thoe i know now they arnt right on some things it still helped me,

  and when i studyed at the time i was having alot of probs in the world and it got me away from it all and into an enviroment that helped me alot for a few years and get me away from past problems and now even thoe im disasociated im a better person for it so are all my kids,they have good points aswell as bad,but then so does all religions.

  DO NOT have children in this system!!

  growing up, this is something that my other always told me.

  i've had several conversations with older sisters who have said that if they could do things over, they wouldn't have had children.

  other couples my own age are horrified at the thought of raising children in "this system".

  iv got 8 kids and i know of a couple who want kids but cant have them it makes me feel sad the only reason they cant have kids is becouse of the blood isue the wifes ill and shed need blood if she got pegnant and had a child,its so sad as when i went to kh i always felt sad for her when i got pregnant and had all my kids around me and others were geting pregnant, she could have children but not wile shes a jw,in the "new system" she wont have kids cos no ones gona be having kids ever as i was told anyways acording to jws beleived views,so i dont know how couples get to the understanding that theyl have em in new system,

  well here we have kids and old age pensioners living below the poverty line, and the prime minister promises 1.4 billion to overseas aid for jabs... the uk is a dumping ground for immigrants, and they all get houses and cars payed for by the tax payer.

  i am not racisit but when my country is bankrupt then we need to close the borders and look after our own.

  the freeloader imigrants need to find a new place to squat as the uk has run out of money, schools , hospitals, and most of all jobs.

  i think having benefits for the most part is a bad thing as most people were i live cant be botherd to go work feel thye are better off on benefits and so go and have like 10 kids and live off the state, i think it should change and make it so benefit is only paid if youve worked,and benefitr should only be paid for the first 2 children,also i think coicil housing should only be given to people who can pay the rent and not the 16 yearold who desided to get pregas so she could get a free house free money and free rent i think life has been made to easy for peopel in uk and it should change so that the lazylayabout youth will get a kick up there asses and learn what hard work is and apreciat what working gets them instead of being drug addicted loser scronges who dont give a dam about anything cos they dont care ,im not harsh its cos all around me were i live thats all i see,theres jobs out there if they realy want one my husband came over from usa he got a job with no quolifications becouse he wanted a job he not a loser layabout and he looked for one,were poor but pay our way ans that means somat to me,there realy is to much of the dernt say anything when it comes to imigrants and what ever but i feel that yer everyone should be able to be able to come work to feed there kids i do know that if we couldnt for deff find work here and our kids were starving and there was a sucker country out there willing to give me a job and money and schooling for my kids id go so they arnt to blame the goverment is for making it all so available and free.
