by yknot ini always find it interesting how emails vary in perception.
two more 'snippets' have arrived and i am posting them for forum consumption (this is still technically 'spiritual food') and discussion.as with the last thread, the original author and those they emailed are not responsible!
i was like 4th/5th on the chain of these emails and none knew of my intent to reiterate the contents here in cyberspace.

Quite thought provoking... staull of dramatic movies. Maybe someone must foward the link to Dan Brown... he has keen interest in symbols and religion. Judging from his presentation of the Davinci code, The Iluminati and the Lost symbol... he would do an interesting job on this too

The funny part of the whole matter is that I am yet to find(maybe I'm slow...) sriptual guidelines of DFing... applied either by the disciples or in the first century congregations compared to current applications. It fundamentally flawed, but I guess no "Lucid" dub dares question that.
As for the preparation for the GT, all I can say is that looking foward to such an event defeats the image of a loving, all-w, just and mercyful god that the GB is ussually at pains to potray. "This system of things TM" is one of the cliches I am glad to be rid-off inmy vocabulary. Surely the GB must and should be held responsible for the blique future of spending twilight years in almost poverty(if it were not for social sercurity afforded by governments). The cost in human suffering when it comes to missed educational opportunities and a general sound economic family life, is imesurable!!
The WBTS's GB enjoy economic security at the expense of millins on earth trough utter sham... such injustice is very abominable and must be stopped!
I had to vent...

by Luo bou to ini believe i have completely freed myself from any borg influence yet i am drawn to this board.

they have so much invested.

I'm using it in a negating sense... "Awareness of the dream stage" as we are aware of the lies but do nothing at the time for fear of shunning and other hedious things.
Ofcause once you know the truth about the truth , it can be likened to waking up to reality with good recollection of the dream... I know, I have :-)

The very fact that "the buble broke" means that you have started to apply your thinking. Take comfort in the fact that you have a loving family(Your husband and your children) arround you. Of utmost importance is the need for you to find personal peace, and to heal emotionally and mentally.
When you are at the brink of understanding the truth about "The truth TM" , it is normal to be ancious about your loved ones. You know leaving is the right thing to do, but what will you fill the void with? I mean what will the sundays be for" and maybe you have some fond memories of your childhood that you may feel you will be depriving your children of if you dont raise them as witnesses...
The truth of the matter is that in time you will understand that your children can enjoy their childhood without having to grow "in the buble" and there is nothing stoping you to teach them about god and the bible, and to encourage them to use their mental capacities when it comes to issues of faith.
Above all else, teach your children to "live life aboundantly", afford them all that is in your strength to enjoy every moment "alive" in every sence of the word (free of guilt or control)... it is the least you owe them.

So sorry about your wife and family. I relate to the pain and the anger there... this site and JWR are all that is keeping me sane at the moment. I escaped the lucidity two years ago, and had to deal with the guilt and the void alone. Had I found this site earlier, I am certain I would have spared myself sleepless nights...
What is done is done.
I am here to heal, and to put my life into perspective, I know that I cannot take back the years lost, but I hope to decode each year spent and to understand the causes and strains of the lucidity state I was once in. Maybe then I will be able to help those that come here raw from the borg.
I do feel that in here I am amongst friends intellectually and otherwise. So if anyone has any need that I can satisfy dont hesitate to PM me.

I'm back with a new computer and feeling better
by Lady Lee inthe last 15 days have been hard.. 10 days without a computer is hell.. i said this on another thread but want to say it again.. thank you so much to those of you who have contributed to getting me a computer and back on line.
this new baby of mine is awesome.
it would have taken me months to save up enough money to either fix the old (which i think would have needed to be rebuilt) or buy another.

"The FDS has lovingly given us time"
by Crisis of Conscience inboy am i tired of hearing this one.
yes folks, i heard it at the meeting this week...again.
the sm included a local needs part and this was the subject - family worship night.. apparently, regarding fwn, that time was never, nor now is, ours.

I resonate with these questions:
I wonder what it is like for the poor sister that has no family in the Org. and an unbelieving mate ? Do others include her in their family time ? Or the widow ? Or the single person new to the area w/no close relatives ?? What happens to these people ?
And the answer is simple, this is the forgotten class that nobody [especially the GB] cares about, there never was any "special arrangement" to care for these whether financially, physically or emotionally. This night must be horrible for them, as it means they will ussually spend it alone.
I used to watch an elderly widow get stranded every TMS night, as there was no one to drive her home... so she started leaving early before the meeting ends to catch the late night cab(taxi) home. I think she was reprimanded for this and some elders started taking turns to give her a ride home. This arrangement also did not last
Somuch for brotherly love...

Some christmas spirit, WT style!
by bohm inwell, i know its a bit self-serving since i allready posted this in jwfacts thread http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/watchtower/bible/199939/1/watchtower-images-required, but i think its quite funny and things have been kind of serious around here for the past couple of weeks.. it seem to me that when jahs chanel have desided (im kidding, they has been told) the one and true god really hate christmas and will kill you in nasty ways if you go ahead and celebrate it, it provide a pretty compelling case for not celebrating christmas.
but the governing body can make an even stronger case than that: not only will jesus cry and clice you up if you celebrate christmas, you will also have a really bad time.
wow!.

Hey Wingcommander
Seems you got it spot on there, after all Jehovah is a happy god... why would he not want his people to be happy??
Ecclesiastes 3:22 And I have seen that there is nothing better than that the man should rejoice in his works, for that is his portion; because who will bring him in to look on what is going to be after him?
I am in a quest to prove each holiday to my self whether I will celebrate or not, afterall I am now trully the captain of my soul...
