Either way I have asked debator to answer me from his heart/head why he is here, The GB does not aprove of this site, yet he remains silent on matters of heart. He tries to send out the fear the phobia, and the control. Standard issue inside the WT box logic poors outta his mouth, every response is a scripted one....it is standard issue brainwashing at its finest. Speak freely debator tell us why you are here, surly you can not feel you have God's direction to be here? And if you do ...then you are NOT following the GB....which makes all your standard issue responses null and void.
Debator can you not make one comment, one word of questioning that comes first thru your heart and your brain, even the most devote JW's if really questioned can come up with something they feel the light will be brighter on in the futurer? UNPLUG and let the healing take place that can only happen amoung freethinkers. You are not doing Gods work here, spend this time in the door to door work. But I feel you are a freethinker otherwise you would not be here, or I'd agree with designs and feel you are just a spy f ing with us, and to that I will turn the other cheek. Who Can Be a Registered Member at JWTalk Forums?
Any active publisher associated with Jehovah’s Witnesses, baptized or not. An active publisher has a share in the work of proclaiming Jehovah’s Kingdom every month and reports it, and is thus counted among us in the monthly and yearly reports. In other words, this forum is intended for Jehovah’s Witnesses only.
If an extenuating circumstance causes you to go temporarily inactive, this does not mean you have to abstain from participating in the forums. However, should you become “no longer one of Jehovah’s Witnesses” via disassociation or expulsion, it would be appropriate for you to send a private message stating clearly that you want your account disabled. It can be reactivated at a later time when your circumstances have turned around and you have been reinstated.
How Can I Become a Participant in the Discussion Forum?
Registration is required to participate in JWTalk’s Discussion forum. For 3+ years, membership was strictly by referral only, meaning that a current member had to refer you to the forums. This is still the fastest and simplest way to become a member is by a referral from a current member. There is a ‘Refer a Friend’ form inside the discussion area that members can see that they can use to refer others to the boards.
The subjects of posts are displayed on the front page, plus there are updates that are propagated over the internet, such as at Facebook, that might include a members username. Do not put down the usernames or real names of people as referrers when they did not personally invite you to the forums. All referrals are checked and if happens to be that you were dishonest on your registration, you will not be considered for membership.
People with no referrers must answer fill in the registration form completely and accurately. There are questions on the registration page that under normal circumstances, only active publishers would know the answers to.
Is There a Code of Conduct? Are Certain Things Not Permitted to be Posted to the Forum?
Of course there is a code of conduct. The same behavior expected of you in the congregation is expected here in the forum. While usernames are used, we are all on a first name basis as well, and either your full name or first name only is displayed on the posts.
Links to apostate sites (anti-witness sites) will get you immediately banned.
Do not post entire articles or upload our publications to the forums.
Be mindful of sensational stories or experiences that you cannot verify. This becomes a problem from time to time. It’s a chore for moderators to read extremely long ones, and we will point out what we feel is ridiculously sensational and unrealistic and publicly state why we find it to difficult to believe some facet of this incredulous story. Not to ridicule you, but to protect the gullible for believing everything he or she reads. If the story or experience is legitimate, OR truly encouraging yet not overly far fetched, we’ll probably let it go. Just remember this is not the purpose of the forum.
Do not use the forum to sound off on what you think the organization should do differently. It is discouraging, and quite frankly not up to you anyhow.
Do not bring issues to the forum that you ought to be speaking to your elders about.

Everyone has their own ahhah moment, and what is ones, doesnt even effect the other. For me I was troubled by the illustration from the watchtower - that of a candy from the gutter, even though washed of the dirt - would still not be apietizing, any sane person would not eat it.
I knew the watchtower had flaws any human org can not claim otherwise, but as a JW I truly believed that these problems were made clean thru the fact that the organization was acting from an honest heart, and with good intent. This exampled clearly spoke to me how that this same washing off or cleaning up of falsehoods is NOT premitted....the ORG does not claim or admitt to any wrong doing. WE ARE HOLY WE ARE 100% RIGHT. Hmmmmm yet that is what "New" light is....a washing a cleansing. I do not find this apietizing!

Hahaha Debator you are sooo funny. It is amazing to me that you found the answer you wanted because you were told what the answer was and you went and found it!
I have never ever celebrated a Birthday Anniversary EVER. I may or may not agree with some or all of the WT teachings regarding this so called pagen holiday. You would not KNOW because you have yet to think reason and get to know by discusion what moves others hearts, and what could make someone tick. And that is my riddle for you why are you here?
Personaly I loved the Watchtowers comments about all of these pagen teachings ect...like being a candy gotten from the gutter, even if you washed it off.....would you still eat it? Their point here is to make me turn away from pagen holidays, however that comment was very very important to me and freeing my mind spiritualy, and opening the way to free thinking. The WTBTS is full of false ideas that have been thru a washing and made clean. (the pyramid is all I need to say) I am to eat this candy? The WTBTS has taken their teachings and washed and refined them according to current understandings, you and me are to swallow it. Things that are Pagen. So how can you deny anyone who has washed and refined a pagen holiday, and then feels that may partake....oh wait you cant only the GB can. and the GB says to get off of this site. So either debate from your own mind your own thoughts, or listen to the GB. Can you pick and choose wich ideas you follow? hmmmm that is sounding really really apostate to me..... Debator you are on a slippery slope.

Dear Debator
My whole life I have been a Jehovah's Witness, along with all of my family and all of my friends, I have all of the books and have all of the years and years of aplying what I "learned" to fully understand the Watchtower point of view. And I also have had a lifetime to feel the effects of these teachings.
The title of this thread is "Birthdays rob the glory of God" and imediatly you went OT and started you preprogramed info. I come to this sight knowing what the preprogramed info is, my purpose in coming to this site is to talk to ones whom like myself have the same background of preprogramed info, and then have gone on to learn and have different ideas and ways of thinking that expand and grow. I may not agree or I may. Either way it expands my mind. Normaly when reading a thread I just ignore your coments and skim past them, yet this topic is about robbing the glory. And Debator you are always trying to rob the glory. You are caught in round and round reasoning that goes no where. You know what the answer is before you look for your proof. You can only get to the answer A because you only are looking for answer A. You have yet to talk about Rom 14. Ding has brought that up 2wice. I would like to continue to disregard your thinking, but why are you here? On an apostate site?
So there it is Debator your Achilles Heal. Proof that you do not agree with all the WT teachings - you are here. So let us choose to disagree with the WT teaching let us actualy debate and discusse things, with out the preprogramed cult teachings spewing from your mouth. Walk the Walk either get of this site go to the elders confess your sins and free yourself from all this bad association. Or choose to look at the topics and actualy think reason and debate. so i dont save or make files of things i read ect.. i am currenty needing to help my niece who is struggling witht the wt idea that the first century congregations are the model of how the our org today is run.

My 16 year old nephew got a tattoo!
by serenitynow! inmy only nephew, who's mom is inactive and his only exposure to the wt is through my hardcore jw mom, just got a tattoo.
it's of his mom's name, i would have been super excited if it was of a cross, lol.
anyway, i had been so worried about him, because i did not know how deep into the jws he is mentally.
