I feel you on the emotional ride ....it rings sooo true. Although I have my husband, and our marriage has never been stronger then the past couple years. It was like a veil to our true personalities was lifted. It was soo amazing to look my husband in the eye and say..you really dont believe there is a God do you? .....lol poor feller never made a good JW. lol My only thought is too keep trying to find her true personality. Encourge her PASSION in life - encourge growth. Fill her life with all the things she would have loved if she wasnt living for the new system. Wish you Peace and a happy 2012

Help a lurking dub with doubts
by undercover ini've been lurking about, checking out some of the evidence against the wtbs.
i am currently inactive but still an approved/baptized member.
i have seen all the 1914/607bce evidence; the blood transfusion quandry evidence; the current child abuse problem evidence and several other things that are damning to the wt doctrines.

File a lawsuit against a fellow 'Christian" and you may get disfellowshipped...
by QuestioningEverything inmy very dear friends brother died tragically at work a few years back-the employer's were at fault 100%.
my friend cindy, her mom lily and his wife tammy-(all witnesses-not their real names) filed a lawsuit against the company and won a judgment of $1.2 million dollars.
the check was cut and cindy and her mom haven't seen one penny of the judgment.

hmmm my 2 cents it is her money to give or not to give. And reality is 1.2 million is alot...but living of the intrest and leaving the princaple would make a nice but not too huge salery of 45g (or so) a year..... that really doesnt sound that greedy. Sorry I wouldnt pay off my mil and fil debts...families have a alot of personal history and even the nice people .............make a few waves in their lifetime.
I guess the diffrence would be that if during and before the settlement she had her inlaws support, and made verbal comitments as to what she would do with the money?
edited to add that the MIl had roughly 35,000 in debt and the wife and husband had zero debt...that right there is the biggest clue to me as where the rift in the family lies. That story hits home with me. Connect the dots.....

Steal this response if you need one for the Witnesses
by Dogpatch ini can't type worth a damn and have had operations on my main (left) hand, so i sometimes send a pre-recorded response to emails and messages from people who are down and out about getting out of the witnesses, and some are near suicidal.
it is what i would type anyway.
then i add a few lines.
