  what do you hopw to do on valentine's day?

  me i do not really know i do not really have any in mond.even though my classmate is trying to get to ask out a girl in my class.what do i do.all the jw indocrination has me nervous about confronting this girl.i could try it takes time to confront members of the opposite sex.but pratice makes perfect.

  What Things Were You Deprived Of Because You Were A Jehovah's Witness?

  i think back at some of the simpler things we couldn't do or have because we were a witness.

  i hardly know my father's (worldly) side of the family.

  didn't know my grandfather, grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins.

  Just holidays and of course pursuing different ideas. The Jw's are not open to new things.I could say our lives on here were closed to a certain extent.

  Was anyone basically 'imprisoned' as a teen by JW parents?

  so in my mid teens i finally refused to stop all jw activity naively thinking i may be able to live a more normal life.

  (i was already taken out of school at 14.

  ) after this i wasn't allowed to go outside even a few feet in front of the door by myself.

  Did field service ever scare any one.

  i was always scared somewhat by who i might meet at the door.. where i live we just had a mom murdered with her two young sons.

  it is really sad, from what i just read in the paper the husband and wife took in this young man he was 22 years old and needed a place to stay.

  he had been with them for months and had celebrated christmas and thanksgiving with all the family, etc.

  no not really but I remeber doing a call on a house in where a the women was nice but paranoid and kept saying that she was hiding.

  I just heard that she died that is crazy I grew up with her music. This is just unbelievable. I feel for her family that is just insane.

  I left in 2008.I was raised into it but I left at 17 and realized it was all lie I felt angry at first but I got over it.

  Kingdom Hall Spankings

  most meetings i went to, children were brought to the washrooms in the back to be disciplined.

  often i could hear a child yell or cry due to the spanking given by the parent.

  people in the hall would have that look on their face meaning that it was alright to discipline a child by spanking him.

  I agree after a while I stopped believed in the Truth LOL and for a time I was just plain enraged at all the lies I was subjected to. I hating hearing children getting spanked their kids what do you expect. No child can sit still for two hours straight.
