What I am trying to say BD is, if you are a born-in dub, you have been trained from infancy to defend the bible and your god with all your might.
and the same excuse Jehovah's Witnesses use for their misplaced belief system is at your disposal.
i just looked up some population statistics.
i saw there are over a billion children under the age of 10 on the earth today.
(didn't research too hard - just googled it.

I defend God because the Bible commands it. It allows us to question God (many of the ancient patriarchs and prophets did), and I never said we cannot question Him. But what I HAVE said is that it is God's right to do what God will do. It is his RIGHT. I said that in our limited understanding how can we presume to know exactly why God did what He did? We don't have all the facts. We don't know what He foresaw in the future that would happen if he did not give the commands that He gave.
WTBTS and the JW use the same excuses for their beliefs, yet you oppose them. Interesting.
i was watching oz re-runs on hbo.
everyone is prepping for a major prison riot.
apocalyptic scenes are shown.
Is god a Human Construct?
the above mark twain quote made me think about some of the comments i heard this weekend during the watchtower study.
several commentors alluded to the seeming ignorance of "wordly" people as regards bible knowledge.
comments such as "people who go to churches don't know the bible like we do, so they may go to church and afterwards say that was a very good sermon.
Dude!!! Wow, it's like everybody will get that talk at least once a year, were the speaker takes a jar on stage with ping-balls.
-this ball is for personal study
-this one is for meeting attendance
-this one is for field service activity
and on and on

jehovah's witnesses say center would have big impact.
a planned 3,000-seat educational center will have a substantial economic impact on orangeburg county over the next five years, jehovah's witnesses officials say.. .
the center could generate $264 million in revenues over a five-year period, with the added benefit of more than $18.4 million in new sales tax revenues for the local area, church spokesman bill sims said.. .
Why is it called a Educational Center, is it accredited? Will they learn a skilled-trade?
i have been hearing more people saying this now than ever.
especially those in the over-40 crowd.
i just got off the phone with an older jw family member who was reviewing options for golden years living.
FM-"Some think that if someone is a just good person, Jehovah will see that and spare them at Armageddon. That's not true. If they are not a Witness in good standing, they will not be spared."
That's absolutely nuts!!!!
are you a jw or if you were one do you still have any jw traits left?

i ask this question in harmony with deedub's swan song thread which i linked below.. http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/members/private/205902/1/time-to-say-good-bye.
to some degree, i think i understand where she's coming from.
just speaking from my own experiences since stepping into the world of anonymous apostacy, i went through a few different phases of personal outlooks.
Sac-Others just ignore what they don't like and take what they do.
I took what WTBTS taught wayyyyyy to seriously.
Those who seemed to have success to what can be called the 'Balanced JW' took the best of what the 'society'(WTS) had/has to offer(from their perspective)
and did what the f*** they wanted within context.

Have we not heard of slavery time stories where the Master decides to free some of his slaves?
The slave has all his family and friends working for the Master.
The slave is also aware that he is ill-equip to survive in the world outside of the umbrella of his master.

The definition of what a "Jehovah's Witness" is, differs for each member----all 7 and half million.
Perhaps Paul had it right, be whoever you have to be, to be as happy as you can.
