Showed the new JW cartoon to my non-witness Girlfriend- Take 2
by KidKool inallright my first post messed up and i lost it some kind of way.
haven't posted on here in along time, obviously don't know how to anymore.. trying again.. so i was raised a jw, da for over a decade, of course estranged from parents and jw family, have a teenage son from a previous relationship.. anyways, i wanted to see what someone who had no first hand knowledge of the jws would think.
so i showed my non-jw girlfriend the obey jehovah (go sparlock!

Jim_TX, I noticed that right away too. As young as he is, he is coming home from school all alone. Even if the school bus stopped right in front of his house, usually the mothers come outside or are waiting outside.

Sparlock can be our mascot! The other image- with the toes of clay mixed with iron - has fallen. Now Sparlock is the new image, the 9th world power.
We should compose an entire book of Sparlock Melodies and call it "Sing to Sparlock". Update it every 20 years or so. Distribute copies to deserving ones.
We can start publishing a magazine that announces Sparlock's kingdom, the "paradise" where minds are free and no longer enslaved to false religion. Sparlock will put a turning flaming sword at the entrance to the paradise, to keep out nosey elderettes, elders, and the annointed annoying ones.

Caleb's Mom has some serious issues
by bats in the belfry in.
calab's mom is exhibiting some really psychopathic streaks in talking to him.. her facial expression is on the weird side of things.
if that is the kind of talking to i would have gotten over the years, eventually i would have saddled up, lock and loaded - at best moved out of home at an early age.. .

By that (my above comment) I mean, it is obvious she never had the opportunity to have such toys. She has only had what the WT has provided. Therefore it is such a big deal to her.
Whereas if she had had a "worldly" childhood she would have recalled having many toys herself that the WT would not have approved of.

WatchTower damages more JW families & children with Sparlock video :(
by mind blown inanother disgusting attempt of the wts controling attempt to know it all.
you can totally see the wts did not consult a therapist, getting professional help/advice on how to handle the situation or message they were trying to convey to the child.
the facial expression of the mother ( is disturbing even to me) while evoking guilt to the child.

Notice in the other video - where Caleb gets footprints on the floor his mother just cleaned - the video begins with Caleb playing with A WAR PLANE. It appears to be an F4U Corsair.
And why do they throw the Sparlock toy away instead of returning it? How do they feel when people accept literature from them and put it right in the trash? Life is all about respecting others' right to have their own beliefs and preferences, rather than "my way or the highway".

it is an animated feature aimed at children with modern computerised graphics.- the antagonist of the relatively brief cartoon is a self-described warrior wizard by the name of sparlock which was obtained by caleb, the young subject of this material.- the unnamed mother in this dvd guilt-trips young caleb into disposing of his sparlock toy.- the video goes viral within the ex-jw community, with youtube videos being posted of the video.

Maybe this comment should be a separate thread....but I noticed when watching the video "Obey Your Daddy and Mommy" or something like that, where Caleb forgets to remove his shoes before stepping on the floor his mother just finished cleaning....

If he's allowed to play with a war plane, then why is he not allowed to play with Sparlock?

Daily walks with my new dog
by QueenWitch insince i'm home by myself i got a shelter dog to keep me company.
her name is samus and she is a poodle mix about 4 yrs old.
she has to be walked at least 2x a day.

might this latest dvd actually be proof that there are operatives inside watchtower hq who are deliberately sabotaging the society's material?

You know what would be funny? When the mother opens the trash so the kid can put Sparlock in, she see all the tracts the family had put in all the not-at-home neighbors' doors over the previous weekend.
