Why would Jesus tell his disciples that they would be hated, persecuted and put to death if he was talking about the end of the world? None of the ones he was speaking to, nor those who came after saw the end of the world. Therefore, he had to be speaking of enduring until they died. Otherwise, none of them could be saved because none of them saw the end of the world. The only ones who could be saved would be the ones who endured when the end of the world came (whenever that comes).

Gas prices up again

i don't believe this crap.

yesterday gas was $3.69 and now today in tennessee it is $5 a gallon in several stations.

it is supposedly $6 a gallon in pigeon forge.. .

Most of the gas stations here in Tallahassee are out of gas. The only one I could find still open this morning was Petro. The attendant there told me that the price will be going up to $5.25 per gallon when the next supply truck comes in (she thinks on Sunday). It will be nice when things go back to normal.

i'd think it's a 99% chance that the company is a bunch of jws.

whatever happened to this long lost activity?

i can remember a time when you couldn't make it from the convention doors to your car without being approached by at least one glassy-eyed apostate holding a sign or thrusting a homemade tract under your nose.

I suppose some of you think that the picketing at Ft. Benning, Ga. has been inefective. Every year the number of picketeers increases and the pressure increases. The question is who will be the first to give in?

If nothing else it keeps the eyes of the public on an issue that does not go away.
