I think what they disapprove of is interaction with apostates on the internet. But, there are those who think think this is a generalization and it does not apply to them since they consider themselves "spiritually mature".

I went to Plains, Ga. Baptist Church, one time, when Jimmy Carter was teaching Sunday School. Afterward, had a picture of me taken with him and his wife Rosalyn. On other occasions, at F.S.U., I went to lectures given by poet Angela Mayou and Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel.

that half the people born since 2000 are expected to see 100 years old, and that.
the first person that will live to 150 years old, is already alive.. so how long would you like to live?.

Jesus Was but not IS Michael!

this post is not to criticize wts but to open honest discussion among mature followers of christ.. there has been much controversy around the wts doctrine regarding the arch angel michael.
as many are aware, wts believe that jesus in his pre-human existence was michael , gods first born.

If Jesus was an angel prior to coming to earth, what became of him? Did he cease to exist? How is angelic life different from heavenly life that you say was transferred into Mary's womb? Son of man doesn't mean that Jesus existed as a man in heaven., does it? So, there had to be continuity between the Jesus who came down from heaven and the Jesus who walked upon the earth , don't you think? Otherwise, you have two Jesuses. The only thing that makes sense is that Jesus added to himself what he did not have before, namely humanity.

Did anybody see 20/20 Investigation Discovery earlier this evening? It was all about Kelly Jarka who is serving a life sentence for the murder of his wife. Took place in Murietta, California. He was an elder at the Kingdom Hall and the program referred to him as a "fallen minister." His mother-in-law immediately thought that he did it. But, his family members are all supportive of him. He was convicted on circumstantial evidence. The program included his interview by the police when he was taken down to the station; he seemed to me to be so unemotional for someone who claimed he had just found his house burgalarized and his wife killed. The jury did too; the judge sentenced him to life. But, he is going to appeal.

I came across an interesting article today in the Tampa Tribune, dated June 25, 1939, which mentions William Heath at the end of the article. It is entitled: "Riot Breaks Up Jehovah's Witnesses New York Meeting."
"NEW YORK, June 23--A meeting of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society (Jehovah's Witnesses) in Madison Square Garden broke up in a riot late today after a speaker's charge that the Catholic church supports Hitler.
"J.R. Rutherford, head of the society, inadvertently set off the riot when he allegedly said that 'the Catholic church, no matter what anybody tells, you supports Hitler.' Some one yelled 'You're a liar' and fighting started in the balcony, spreading quickly to all parts of the garden, which held a crowd of about 18,000 persons.
"Eggs were hurled, and canes and fists were swung. Black eyes and bloody noses were numerous but only eight persons required medical treatment. Frances Kilkenny, 14, suffered an injured left arm and head and body bruises. Alfred Colengelo, 28, was arrested as her assailant and charged with felonious assault.
"Police restored order.
"Of the other five arrested one was William Heath, 34, said by police to be Rutherford's secretary. He was charged with felonious assault.
"Most of the crowd were followers of Rutherford, but there were a few who heckled him from the beginning."
