Since God is omnisicent I often wonder why He made the blooming tobacco plant in the first place. Surely He knew people would become addicted to it and die of lung cancer, etc. Well, if we blame adverse results on abusing tobacco, can anyone tell me beneficial reasons for its existence?

does the bible condem smoking??
by master chief inthink about it if the bible says we must present our bodies as a living sacrifice to god and we must be holy because god is holy is that really possible, well i would say no and do you wanna no why "well im gonna tell you anyway".well think about driving our cars we r deliberately polluting the earth which god condems, and what about the food we eat which contaminates our bodies, which i think would really corrupt our bodies, and think about it we are imperfect according to the bible so how can we make ourselves holy.also imagine a jw has aids and then is prescibed a drug which can corrupt our bodies but helps the patient with his suffering (ie:ganga is given to aids sufferers to help them to regain appetite for eating)but i suppose that would be ok for that purpose.one more thing for the last few months ive been coughing a lot and i havent smoked for years but guess what i smoked a menthol fag today and voila my coughing dissapeared so do you think the fag helped to cure this problem mmmmm i wonder if that is a sin??

Anyone for a beer?
by Kenneson inbeer seems to be as common a drink in the old testament as is wine (isaiah 24:9), although it was not available in the desert (deut.
it was poured as a libation to yahweh (numbers 28:7) and was drunk at sacrificial banquets at the sanctuary (deut.
14:26) it should be noted that the new world translation calls it "intoxicating liquor" and some translations have "strong drink.

Beer seems to be as common a drink in the Old Testament as is wine (Isaiah 24:9), although it was not available in the desert (Deut. 29:6). It was poured as a libation to Yahweh (Numbers 28:7) and was drunk at sacrificial banquets at the sanctuary (Deut. 14:26) It should be noted that the New World Translation calls it "intoxicating liquor" and some translations have "strong drink." But some scholars and some Bibles (like the NIV) translate it "beer," since they feel that the Hebrew word sekar means that rather than distilled spirits.
Of course, not all references to beer are favorable. Its intoxicating qualities are also mentioned (Isaiah 29:9; 28:7) and along with wine it is a beverage of drunkards (Ps. 69:12; Is. 5:11,22; 56:12). It leads to quarrels (Pr. 20:1) and is not the drink of rulers (Pr. 31:4)
Since beer and wine are both mentioned in the Bible as acceptable beverages, why do some religions prohibit its consumption? It seems to me that it is only the abuse of the drink that is condemned. Moderation seems to be the key. Any further thoughts?

A name does not constitute God anymore than a name constitutes me. I know of at least one person who has the exact same first and last name as I do. It takes more than just a name to distinguish us apart!

Follow the lead of Martin Luther. Nail your theses to the Kingdom Hall door. Who knows the outcome? Might start another Reformation!

Take a close look at the photos at http://www.freeminds.org/history/cemetary.htm
Now, how can anyone deny that? Check which Society is responsible for the Pyramid at Russell's gravesite!

Since the JWs are considered a sect in France and not a religion they must pay taxes, according to the Miami Herald. Serves them right!
They advocated long enough that "Religion is a snare and a racket."
They deserve the label "sect" and no tax exemption.
