i have never gotten a good answer for this questions from any other jw's other than "everyone was of the annointed back in the first century" or "we are showing our respect for the arrangement" or some other nondescript comment.. even the notion that we "celebrate" the memorial is not accurate since the "celebration" part is limited to 8 or 9 thousand people and the 15 million or so that attend are merely observing or watching.. is there some other biblical support for people to observe the celebration ???
in all my life as a jw, i still don't quite understand the significance of it from a biblical persective.. rub a dub .

I'm sure that those sitting on the front row do observe whether those around them are partaking or not. Some might even look back to see if anyone is partaking. Are you saying JW's are not curious? You didn't keep your eyes closed, did you?

Can you imagine hosting a meal with numerous invited ones there but only one or two partake? Do you think you would invite those who did not eat and drink again the following year? What an insult!

the following story is apparently circulating in several south-american bethel-branches: after the earthquake in haiti, the wts was the first provide help in the form of 18 doctors who was transported in by air.
this clearly show how well the organization work bla bla bla.. im curious if anyone else here has heard this story, or have information about how effective the wts helping work really was..
P.S. The official Jehovah's Witness site claims that Jehovah's Witnesses in the Dominican Republic sent aid to the Haitian branch the very next day, which in turn distributed to designated Kingdom Halls. Carrefour is a suburb of Port au Prince and the date of the article above is Jan. 15 and no aid had yet reached that Kingdom Hall. Maybe it was not a designated distribution center??? Also, notice that JW doctors were due to arrive in Haiti on Jan. 19. I'm not claiming that JW's did not send aid but I doubt they were the first on the scene.

e-watchman made a video response to the video which fell right into one of the stereotype answers i've gotten a hundred times on the video.
Lots of animals kill and eat their prey. Does God condemn this? Why, therefore, does He condemn humans for killing humans? What about cannibalism?

among jehovahs witnesses, congregation elders work tirelessly to make contact with all members of the congregation to ensure that they are safe or can get to a safe place.
also, the elders check to be sure that each one has lifes necessities, such as clean drinking water, food, clothing, and essential medication.
The Witnesses will help their own first. That's not bad. At least other agencies won't have to tend to them. Hopefully,
they will also help all those who live around the Witnesses. If they do they will have a lot to do.
i found this site set up by a loyal jw who wants to refute books like "crisis of conscience" and "captives of a concept".
i thought loyal jw's were not even supposed to read such books.. .
