i have never heard anything audibly (or otherwise) nor "felt" anything inwardly.. i've prayed, read, quieted my thoughts, etc...but still nothing..

Black Sheep - Will the king list approach making the JW find the kings using the WTCD still work, now that they recently published those two 607 articles? I realize those two articles are riddled with scholastic dishonesty, as brought out in the threads analyzing them, but, when keeping to the subject of the king list, I seem to recall those articles calling it into question. Wouldn't the JW just say, "see, the WT is not sure if the king list is correct?"

I am not in any camp. Also, just wanted to point out that IIRC, NC is female, and therefore not part of "boyz," whoever "boyz" is supposed to refer to.

we all memorized the definition of faith... faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for...yadda yadda.. it seems like more and more as time goes by and our scientific knowledge base grows, we need less and less faith and fewer things can be attributed to god.. do you think we need faith or is faith just a word we use to feel ok about being too lazy to keep looking for the answers ?.

Ammo - I too have had experiences that I cannot explain. With me, it seems like I'll think of something out of the blue, and then it happens. I don't see any reason to invoke God though. I think it's more like what cofty said. Perhaps it is the brain processing everything at lightning speed, so fast that you are not necessarily conscious of every detail. I say just roll with it and don't suppress that wonderful sensitivity. But also, don't attribute that sensitivity to something that doesn't deserve it - like some religion's deity.

VM44 - The SC insisted that the NWT wording was more accurate which says "Remember those who are taking the lead among you." I didn't take the time to do a word study on it.

No objective evidence exists to demonstrate that anyone has heard or felt God. Although people claim to hear and feel God, they cannot demonstrate that they what they hear and feel is in fact God.
