Apologies Soledad,
An area where Simon and I disagree fundamentally - his "soccer" team lost tonight when they should have even won by not turning up. On Saturday they face my team!!

Englishman,
Apart from you??
There was me thinking you were suave, debonair and sophisticated... until I realised you were a Pompei supporter with a team that stole Newcastle players......

Hah - few memories there:
Paul J - I'm ex St Ives - had the priviledge of being d/f there in 1993 (was there from 1986). My mother still goes there and I know quite a few names. You probably knew Spencer Smith (Big Brother fame) - he went to school with my kids. My dad also went (divorced from mum but long story), but he sadly died last year. Because of my "standing" I had the funeral at Bar Hill crematorium. I now live in Chatteris.
Regular attender at Bowes Road too.
Also was a night watchman at times when Hellaby Hall was being built. I was in Northallerton cong then.
Regards
Ken

How many married folks post here and your spouse does not know?
by xjwms ini got to thinking about this, and how many are here without telling anyone.. my active wife does not know i post here.
also, i have met some wonderful local people who are here, and you know who you are.. those who i met, i regard as friends, and very supportive.
given our backgrounds we understand each other.. is this a double life?
